Baylor 6’5 Sophomore Cameron Carr has looked like an early potential riser in the 2026 NBA Draft. Through his first three games he’s averaging 24/4/1 along with 2 blocks a game on 68/53/73 splits. Carr has also been a major reason for Baylor’s 3-0 start Carr is one of the best athletes and shooters in the class, he’s great at getting to his spots off the catch and has an extremely quick jumper, he’s also a great cutter who finishes at an elite level and can also drive to the rim. On the defensive end Carr is a versatile defender who’s strong off ball and has the vertical athleticism to defend multiple positions. There’s not many players with Carr’s mix of finishing, shooting, and athleticism and while it’s still early he’s made a strong case to be a potential first rounder.

4 DAY SHOOTING RESET: Day 1 This 4 day reset aims to help players slow down and reinforce their shot. It’s really helpful for Great Shooters that love to be detailed, but also if you aren’t a great shooter to help you build your foundation. Day 1 is about finding our stance (load position) and feeling the sequencing of our shot. The Load Position is the foundation of our shot. A players understanding and feel for their stance is HUGE. Drill 1: Load Position Shooting - Find your stance and start in Load Position, take a breath, lift and shoot with normal pace. We look for straight lift and high follow through on this. Drill 2: 1 Foot Drops - this works on finding our base on the drop, and timing in to lift / shot. Drill 3: 1 Foot Drops w/ Dribble- Add in dribble to work on finding base, ball transfer to shooting hand, timing for shooting off the dribble. SCORING: ONLY COUNT CLEAN MAKES (Swish or hit rim once). For each drill, make 10 from 15’ and 10 from 3. Change Distance and Angle for each shot for variability.

Cal Poly has one of the most underrated prospects in this years NBA Draft in 6’8 19 year old Guard Hamad Mousa. Mousa has been one of the biggest underclassmen standouts in college basketball averaging 22/7/2 while shooting 45% from the field and 41% from three on 8 attempts a game. Mousa is one of the best shooters in the class at 6’8 and has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble or shoot off the ball with his catch and shoot shooting and movement shooting. Mousa is shooting 39% on off the dribble threes with high usage which is among the best in the country. Mousa is also a skilled driver at the rim and he’s shooting an efficient 58% at the rim. Mousa’s ability to play with pace, handle the ball at his height and touch helps him get to his spots at the rim and he’s strong at finishing through contact. Mousa’s mix of pace, finishing, and off the dribble shooting has also helped him be one of the best PNR scorers in the country in the 95th percentile. At only 19 years old you won’t find many players with Mousa’s ability as a finishing, shooter, creator, and passer at 6’8 and he’s someone who I believe will be a draft riser.

Any Post Catch/BL Drive, they take away Middle & trap with the Goalie. High Hands & Aggressive! They do a great job of "cracking back" on anyone at the rim and playing 2 on the Weak Side then rotating. P&R Defense: Weak in the Middle 1/3, Ice on the Sides. Under on DHO's then Ice on Re-Screen's. Bigs at the level and Guards dictate on the hip to 1. Not get screened & 2. Force them to the direction they want! North Texas is ELITE at one pass away swiping at the ball. Any dribble penetration they are going to swipe aggressive than get into the passing lane. They do a great job of using this to stop dribble penetration and get TO's on drives. Fun defense to watch. They fly around, play hard and are active at all times. Ross Hodge is an elite defensive Coach!

Dak is also efficient at the rim and had a lot of big games for Colorado including a 20/4/2 game against Iowa State and a 19/8/8 game against Cincinnati.
