@ChicagosMayor @Williamjkelly While it is fun to watch the Mayor squirm as William skewers him, I do think he has a point and William should get to the question faster. Otherwise we don’t get to hear his answers.

@ChicagosMayor Mayor Johnson doesn't answer questions. He rambles. He interrupts and he threatens. Bare minimum, he deserves to hear what the people see.

@ChicagosMayor @Williamjkelly Now the Mayor knows how we feel. We ask a question and he uses it to spin it to a monologue of something completely unrelated to the question that was asked. Johnson is fine with that as long as it's him doing it.

Johnson is OUR employee. He works for the residents of Chicago. In appearance, he doesn't realize this. He is dictatorial and quite condescending. Tells people "don't ever interrupt me again". Can't tolerate waiting for this question to be asked. What would you do if you owned a business and hired him as an employee?

After each question is asked, a City Hall press aide steps in to reprimand reporters, insisting "on topic" questions be asked. Johnson has the most obliging press corps in the country, and he still refuses to answer questions with which he is uncomfortable. Though it is his job to respond, Johnson becomes visibly agitated and abruptly walks away. Johnson is such a pathetic, pusillanimous coward.
