This is the quiet flex nobody’s ready to talk about, Amazon dropping $11 billion on an AI fortress in Indiana pulling 2.2 gigawatts like it’s nothing, a million homes worth of juice and 300 million gallons of water just to feed the algorithm gods, this isn’t innovation, it’s industrial-scale brain building, Jordan Peterson would call it a new hierarchy forming, Tate would say power follows infrastructure, Trump would say energy is destiny, Tyson would just stare and remind you size matters, while everyone else argues about prompts and chatbots, Amazon is planting steel, concrete, and turbines in the ground locking up compute like oil fields in the 1900s, this is the real AI race, not apps and buzzwords but who controls power, water, land, and silicon, and if that number makes you uncomfortable good, because it means you’re finally realizing AI isn’t a toy, it’s a resource war with servers instead of soldiers.
