This is an amazing Codex tip. Works even better when paired with persistent Codex memory files in Obsidian. Gave me 8 recommended skills relevant to active projects. Do try this!

MICRO CODEX MOBILE IS FINALLY IN BETA! With this app, I tried to recreate Codex Micro OpenAI’s new device on mobile, all built with codex. → Chats → Fast Mode → Reasoning effort → Custom buttons The UI is still a work in progress , for this beta, functionality comes first. Want to try it? DM me your email for a TestFlight invite.

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

Codex now works directly in Chrome on macOS and Windows. It’s even better at working with apps and sites in Chrome, and now works in parallel across tabs in the background without taking over your browser. To get started, install the Chrome plugin in the Codex app.

ChatGPT Voice is now available on Desktop in Work and Codex! And your Codex Micro is already fully compatible with it. It's never been easier to talk to your computer, launch and manage Codex tasks, and basically do anything with Codex. A truly feel AGI moment to me.

Codex is unusable. I generated one image with GPT Image 2.0, gave it to Codex, and used one simple prompt: “Create me a web game from this image.” You give it a simple image like this, and suddenly you realize you can build: • a voxel map • an editor • tile animations • a playable browser prototype This is getting ridiculous.

Knowing Codex is better for complex tasks makes me bullish on Chamath Palihapitiya and 8090 He points out that Codex is much better for meaty, large problems, while Claude feels good for more day to day work. We’re improving model personality so Codex feels even better for pair programming. But we think pair programming with agents is a local optimization. The longer term pattern is delegation. Most people just aren’t asking agents to do ambitious enough work. The people who are delegating use Codex.

Built completely for free on Codex 🤯 We built this game (and video!) with DeepSeek V4 Flash through Antseed on Codex. Over 400,000 tokens used, $0 in costs. Connect Codex to Antseed, pick a free model, and start building. Try it:

GPT Image 2 + Codex: or how to make Codex not suck at UI. Step 1: Generate a UI image (native in Codex) Step 2: Get Codex to implement the UI based on it Step 3: Get Codex to iterate until it aligns with the image as much as possible Codex is bad at initial UI, but very good at implementing a reference design, so this is your way out - iterate with the image model first and then Codex will do a good job.

I put Codex into DOOM using Codex app server. Codex modified the actual game files and modified the game engine to render the terminal interface natively and have Codex engage with the game.

This is what happens when you prompt codex to generate an electronic device with tscircuit None of these boards were edited. No follow up prompts were allowed. Codex always started from scratch from a two sentence prompt.
