Catterick is fantastic. Whenever I see Mark Benton in something I always think ‘wicker shit’.

I’m in the U.S., so I didn’t get into Vic and Bob until I was in my 30s, and “Catterick” was my introduction to them. Wonderfully insane place to start.

A brilliant charity shop find a few years back for 50p, didn’t like it at the time as it was such a departure from shooting stars etc, need to rewatch it again

Bought the DVD as soon as it came out. I can never hear the words chaffinch or trout without sniggering. Perfect

I love this. The bit where Bob is in the pub/working man’s club, and the barmaid’s talking to him, Bob says something and she replies ‘Oh you’re tickling my arse’… A bit like saying ‘You’re pulling my leg’, just funnier. I still say it to this day, and nobody laughs or gets it.

Is this where "HAND" comes from? We still say it in this house and we can't remember the origins 🤣 and shouting 'floatilla'?

Why have I never heard of this??!! I’m going to have to search for it now 😂
