this is how I keep an eye on my coding agents a 3D office connected to my live T3 Code sessions, so I can check on them wherever I go (built with Three.js & T3 Code)

Love this. The set-and-forget crowd will say watching agents is wasted time, but ambient awareness isn't micromanagement — a quick glance at the room tells you the state of the fleet without reading a single log line. Basically a Tamagotchi for your coding sessions. Would love a little "panic corner" where stuck agents pace around.

@threejs @t3dotcodes great idea! (currently we just have leisure rooms for when they are done)

@threejs @t3dotcodes A 3D office for live agent sessions is a wild way to watch them. I usually just leave the terminal open and pretend I am not checking every diff. Seeing them in a room might actually make me less anxious.

@threejs @t3dotcodes it is especially useful if you have multiple things going on, so I immediately see which agents are working and which are done

@threejs @t3dotcodes This is very cool as a concept but makes no sense in practise. The whole point of T3 code is to set and forget and start a new thread - rinse repeat. Having to ‘manage’ agents is just time and energy wasted. But that quip aside, very cool.

@threejs @t3dotcodes I'm not managing the agents through this visualization, I manage them via T3 Code, this is just as a passive overview of what is going on (how many agents there are, which projects agents work on etc.)

@threejs @t3dotcodes The working/done cards are the useful part. Otherwise it’s a lovely office where your agents have gone to hide.

@threejs @t3dotcodes thx!, in night mode, only the rooms (projects) where people are working are lit, so this also gives a quick overview (that I desperately needed)

@threejs @t3dotcodes I’m apparently the guy who likes Anno a little too much — so naturally, my agent control center looks like an Anno interface. I just click on the bots, talk to them, and send them off to work. 😄

@threejs @t3dotcodes sadly never played it, guess my version would be The Settlers-style

@threejs @t3dotcodes I just did this today lol Was really fast to set up on my project! I did skip 3js tho and got it down to about 88mb using no gpu and barely a percent of the cpu

This is delightful — but it's also solving a real problem: ambient awareness. Background agents are invisible until they need you, and "needing you" usually means they're already blocked. How does the 3D office get live state — polling or a websocket from the T3 sessions? And does it distinguish agent states (working vs blocked vs waiting-for-input)? The killer feature would be the little 3D worker raising its hand when it needs you.

@threejs @t3dotcodes This is such a cool way to monitor agents. A live 3D office is way more useful than staring at a terminal all day. You can literally see what your agents are doing at a glance

@threejs @t3dotcodes Fun way to watch them. The view that saves the most time is which agents are blocked on a human. A desk that turns red when an agent is stuck waiting for an approval beats any graph of tokens per minute.
