That’s not cool even though someone is stealing that doesn’t give the people at the store the right to assault customers you’re supposed to call the cops as soon as you see them put merchandise in their bag

She’s most likely gonna lose her job for handling the situation this way. I work in retail and 99% of companies do not want you to touch anyone due to the liability. They’d rather lose $100 in merchandise then $1000000 through a lawsuit.

Her stealing doesn’t give her the right to literally assault her

Stealing is illegal and wrong. I hate a thief. That being said. The store person can get in trouble for the way she handled the situation and perpetrator.

If you ever worked in a store, they always tell you that items are replaceable, not you. It’s better to call the cops and let the thief take the items than fighting them (technically assault), getting sued OR injured. So no, this isn’t the correct way to handle shoplifting.

She doin her job a little too much 😭 technically isn’t even stealing until the woman leaves the store. That tall bitch was doing too much for that minimum wage job 😭

This is hilarious 😂 "I'm stealing but you caught me so I'm going to call the police on you" does something bad then tries to flip it on the other person. America 😂😭🤣

This person is clearly a undercover loss prevention associate. She was doing her a favor by not having her arrested, and she still tried to get away with merchandise. This woman learned nothing and everyone wonders why prices are so high.
