VIDEO | Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan (Dharmendra Pradhan) on CBSE using OSM for examination paper evaluation, said, "Today, certain issues have come to light regarding the CBSE Class 12 examination evaluation process, and a re-evaluation process will now begin. Around 17 lakh students appeared for the examination, and the answer sheets of each student have been securely preserved. In total, there are 98 lakh answer-sheet copies, with each copy consisting of around 40 pages, which means nearly 40 crore scanned pages were evaluated for the first time by CBSE through the OSM process. OSM is a progressive instrument. Many universities and institutions in India, as well as several institutions across the world, are moving towards this system. It is student-centric and designed for the benefit of students. Through this process, students can transparently access information about their marks, and through scanned copies, they can directly view their answer sheets. It helps address students’ doubts and concerns regarding whether they received fewer or more marks, or whether any answer or section was overlooked during evaluation. This is the first time CBSE has implemented this system in the country. Certain discrepancies have come to our notice, and I take responsibility for them. These issues will be rectified, and appropriate solutions will be worked out. All of us are engaged in this task. We will not leave a single student’s unanswered query or concern unresolved." Student sounds alarm, says professor conducted 'ICE drill' during class A student at the University of Minnesota tells Alpha News she had to take part in what her professor called an "'ICE drill" during class. The student said it was meant to teach students how to respond if ICE ever came to the class—and how white students needed to use their bodies to "cover" and "shield" other students who may be likely targets of immigration enforcement. The student, who initially did not want to be anonymous but did so to protect family and friends, said that as a future educator, “I would never ever instruct my own students to put their own safety on the line.” The university told Alpha News it is aware of the situation and conducting a thorough review.

ISLAMIC COLLEGE OF BRISBANE STUDENTS SUPPORT SHARIA LAW. Seven News Media brought Senator Pauline Hanson to an Islamic religious school for dialogue. A young student wearing a niqab told Hanson that she supported polygamy in Muslim countries and only opposed the practise because it is against the law in Australia. Hanson: Do you believe that men should have a number of wives? Student: If in Australia it is not allowed then I believe that they should follow the Australian law because they choose to live in this country. They should abide by the law. However, if they were in a country where it is allowed to have multiple wives and they're OK with it, then I don't see why there's a problem. Hanson: Do you believe in sharia law? Student: Yes. Hanson: Do you believe that should be allowed here in Australia? Student: Not in Australia because it's against the law. But it you look at - it's not just Muslims. Yes this is the normal path that UAVs take over Poland… I was live-streaming as the news broke and showed exactly what they were doing. How did my dumbass produce this map before I had full knowledge? Because it happens all the fucking time. And the one drone that went long could very well be a mistake. Most importantly it appears that decoys were primarily downed inside of Poland. Additionally Ukraine utilizes NATO airspace to put drones into Russian territory all the time, FAFO.

Because of shortcomings in OSM (On-Screen Marking), many parents and children are disappointed. Students don’t just prepare in Class 12; they’ve been working for years, knowing their future depends on it. Students remain focused on competitive exams like JEE and NEET. But due to OSM, many didn’t achieve the required marks, causing stress for families and children. Now, they question why this was introduced suddenly without a proper test run. On social media, students are voicing complaints, though not all reach us directly, but the frustration is clear. If you check CBSE’s Facebook page, you’ll see countless complaints. The official figure says 6.5 lakh students raised objections, but I believe the number should be far higher. Out of 18 lakh students, 12 lakh are from government schools, many in rural areas. If metro city students with laptops struggled, imagine the difficulties faced by rural children with limited access... Training was rushed, with follow-ups missing. Teachers had to log in and practise with sample papers, yet no one verified whether they actually did. Another issue: papers were supposed to be checked by PGT teachers, but due to shortages, TGT teachers were involved. TGTs usually teach up to Class 10, so they may not have fully understood the marking scheme. This could be a reason why some students received lower marks."

Let me ask you an honest question: Who’s your daddy? If you’re a high school student athlete in Illinois, the answer is easy when it comes to one’s “Right to Play.” It’s not your Mom or Dad. It’s a private third-party vendor called the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). If you play a high school sport, the IHSA controls you even when your school day is over and even more when school isn’t even in session. It’s long been an overreach of control from a small group of narrow-minded ego-driven adults literally dictating what student athletes and families can do in their free time. But much-needed and welcome change is getting closer for all student athletes and their families, as more and more student athletes and parents come forward from present and past to speak up and talk about the disadvantages the IHSA - and those who benefit from it - have and are causing. The first victory earlier this week was by slaughter rule, a 12-0 thumping over the IHSA in committee vote. Now it moves to the big leagues. You can read more here: I encourage you to engage and educate yourself in a topic that 75 percent of high school student athletes across the U.S. can do, but it’s something high school student athletes in Illinois can’t do.
