The church is named after Mother Teresa, who visited it in 1995. The eucharistic monstrance and one-of-a-kind stained glass windows were damaged. Kuczynski has been arrested on arson charges. The bombing marks the 500th act of violence or vandalism against Catholic churches in the United States in the past five years. The epidemic of attacks began during the civil unrest of the summer of 2020 and accelerated after the leak of the Supreme Court's Dobbs ruling.
