Your Mac also needs to have AirDrop discoverability set to "everyone" for this to work, as "contacts-only" requires Apple-signed certificates. Plus, it also doesn't support sending files from Android to iPhones or iPads, even when "everyone" mode is enabled. Still, if you find other Android --> Mac file sharing options to be lackluster, give WarpShare a try! The fact that it works at all is incredible, which is why I'm sharing this news here. Samsung just added AirDrop support to Quick Share on the Galaxy S26. Google already did this on Pixel 10 last year. Now Samsung is doing it too. So Android and iPhone can now share files with each other natively. No apps. No cables. Rolling out from today. Korea gets it first. Then North America, Europe, Japan, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Only S26 series for now. More devices later. You have to turn it on manually in Quick Share settings though. Not on by default. Is this the feature that finally makes file sharing between Android and iPhone less painful?

Major major props to aroha for solving a major limitation with Seedance 2.0. If you've tried uploading audio files directly, you know that Seedance 2.0 actually changes the lyrics and even the song itself BUT if you save out a blank video with the song and upload that video as a video omni reference it gives you perfect lipsync and no style drifting of the audio. I personally haven't notice style drift but it's 100% better than a straight audio upload which makes it unusable. This is actually MAJOR!!! Those music videos you've been wanting to generate with Seedance 2.0 are now solved. I tested this myself with some audio from Suno 5.5 which is the example you're watching right now and it works! I just wish Seedance 2.0 would actually fix the audio upload problem but this is an immediate fix. You don't need to type out the lyrics like I did. You might think that I'm dumb or something, but it is a real next step. fff is already on the edge of what is possible on CPU, but our design with the storage is actually oriented on the embarrassingly parallel search, which couldn't be more effective than on GPU. If you'd think about this deeper: 99% of the time file search happens on the local machine of the user. Your melting macbook pro that is using precious CPU cycles to build your Rust project right now is getting wasted on the smart typo-resistant fuzzy matching which is a quadratic complexity algorithm that needs more resources the longer your query is. What if we use GPU instead? Cause we already have it and it is likely idle if user is typing into a search box. And honestly there are some good results so far. I was able to bring fff down to 20% cpu usage at all times no matter how absurdly long your queries are and no matter how many files you have Here is a little sneak peak. Running on M4 max 1.6TB home dir

Rejoice. Just following up with another quick W in Codex You can now configure your reasoning level in plan mode separately directly from your config file. This is huge for Plus users who want to plan with high or xhigh reasoning levels, and then switch over to medium reasoning for implementation, without needing the slash command. This is a great way to save your usage limits, and now it happens automatically. Even if you're on Pro, this should make you very happy. Prior to this, it was switching you automatically to medium every time you planned, which was pretty annoying. Place this near the top of your config file: plan_mode_reasoning = "high" (or xhigh) 0.150.0 is a massive quality of life update. They're clearly listening. This time I am shouting out Charlie. 🙏

🚨Gemini 3.6 Flash is trash I tested it on a 3D Golden Gate Bridge, and the results were awful. • I had to re-prompt it three times because it repeatedly ignored the instructions. • First attempt, instead of creating the requested .html file, it first tried to build the experience inside the Gemini app using simulations. • Then second attempt it started placing images from the web into the chat rather than actually producing the file. • Even after getting it to complete the task, the final output was dramatically worse than Gemini 3.1 Pro, which is 5 months old and now not even a top 10 model on leaderboards. This feels like a regression from Gemini 3.5 Flash and honestly, it is one of the weakest models I have tested in the past few months. This loophole was patched in Android 13, but then another loophole was discovered that got around this. Since Android 13 only blocked apps from setting /Android/data or /Android/obb as the initial directory when launching the documents picker, it was quickly discovered that you could set the initial directory to one of the subdirectories under /Android/data or /Android/obb, thus the user could grant access to individual subdirectories one-by-one. However, this latest loophole was patched with a recent Google Play System Update.
