This is the first IRON robot coming off XPENG Robotics’ new production line. XPENG just started building humanoid robots like cars. And yes—it walked off by itself. The line automates 80%+ of core processes and uses automotive-grade quality control. Mass production is set for year-end, with stores and campuses... show more

Great but it’s not gonna be for sale for a long time mean. We are so far from robots in the home. Meanwhile digit is already deployed and agility $CCXI is the on company with a actual proven product

Walking off the production line is one hell of a factory test.

Curious about the 80% automation. Which assembly steps still require manual intervention?

Mass production is a useful milestone. The buyer metric is utilization: successful tasks per shift, intervention rate, and recovery time—not just units off the line.

I believe it when I’ve seen the line by myself.

Haha, next time we get the chance, let’s go check it out together.

Thats creepy

What stands out most is the focus on making life better, not simply making machines smarter. PrimeTime is LIVE now talking about this plus pokemon card giveaway!

At what point do humanoid robots stop being a tech story and start becoming a labor market story?

it walked off by itself, wow

Automotive grade quality control.....so the panel gaps will be uneven like on teslas 😀

They’ll be finely tuned by the time I actually need one to assist me w/ my day to day. 🤖

Yeah, at this pace, probably sooner than we think 😂

The production claim is the easy headline; the useful question is how recovery, variation, and human intervention are measured once the line leaves the demo.

Walked off by itself 🤯

Looking forward to the humanoid robot bubble going bust. China is still in troubles digesting the real estate bubble. This one going bust will hit its tech edge businesses. The bloodshed and corporate consolidation will be massive. So will be unemployment.

Automated lines are a massive unlock to a drop in COGS

The shift from prototypes to automotive-style mass production is the real story here. If humanoids can scale like vehicles, deployment could accelerate very quickly. @XRoboHub Thanks for sharing.

Exciting times ahead for robotics and innovation—can't wait to see these in action!

Jeszcze tego pożałujemy

@ApexTechOutlet Exactly! Walking off the line unassisted is the ultimate QA test. Now the real question is whether it can navigate the office kitchen without bumping into the microwave.

Production cost must compete with Unitree G1 (13.5K$) - else its just engineering theater?

Watched the demo, does anyone also think the robot moves not as smoothly as in the previous presentation?

Robots will join the workforce at alarming rate in the coming years. Will feel like a blink in hindsight.

We're finished. This is it guys, the end of humanity

Robots running around with a facsimile of the sacred human form & face should be illegal world wide. This is such a disgusting, vile profanity to me.
