I understand where Machu's mother is coming from. I also understand that she wishes for nothing but a bright, happy future for her daughter, someone so special that she works hard to give her everything she needs to fulfill her dreams and pursue a proper career. Something I really admire about Taeyeon is how genuine she is as a person, not just as an idol. She never feels like someone who's constantly trying to maintain a perfect image. If she's happy, she'll show it. If she's upset, frustrated, or disappointed, she doesn't pretend otherwise. She's never been afraid to show those emotions, even in front of fans.
