That’s rhetoric on our part, you know, to say: “Hey, China is looking, this is going to give them the opportunity to take over Taiwan.” That’s just disinformation on our part. When is the last time China has invaded anyone? They want to handle that peacefully and want us out of that. It’s just like if Texas decided to secede. We wouldn’t want anybody else in our business. This is the unconscious bias that my colleagues face every time they put on the uniform. This needs to change…there is no excuse. As an industry we wonder why we have difficulties attracting female and minorities to the role. They just don’t see themselves in that role and on the rare occasion they do, this happens. I have seen this very mistake recently when having breakfast with a colleague who was mistaken as a FA. What can we do to change these perceptions?
