Scouts believe Arvell Reese is “not in the league of Micah Parsons,” and I have to say I agree (via Bob McGinn) It’s not unlikely the Jets draft him #2 overall, but that’s due to how WEAK this draft class is more than it is Reese being an immediate superstar in the NFL. Reese is raw and inexperienced as an edge rusher, but I’m not sure his off-ball LB play warrants him being drafted so high either. While he can be an elite linebacker, his upside getting after the QB is what the Jets will actually covet:

Can the Music we Listen to Affect Us? The answer is yes - and very deeply so. How can players make a big jump next year?!?! For High School and College players… they all put in work with their coaches. Most of them have a trainer they see to put in work. So what is the separator? 1. Are you working on the right things with your coaches that are going to help you be a better player working your team and overall 2. HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU PUT IN THE GYM ON YOUR OWN. This is a HUGE SEPARATOR because this time isn’t dependent on anyone and is unlimited in how much you do. Almost every player I’ve worked with that has made a BIG JUMP has put in extra time on their own. It’s not only because of the work, but it also helps players understand their game better and gives them a bigger investment in their development. As a player you should assess that part of your development today!

Kollin Ritchie Details! In case you were wondering why Kollin Ritchie didn't get drafted until the 20th Round, here’s exactly what happened, and I have ALL of this confirmed. Ritchie was presented with multiple early-round options that were either below slot value or fell short of what he wanted. He tried to negotiate but couldn't find middle ground, and because he knew he had a GREAT situation at OSU, he held his ground. Multiple teams continued to try to find the money it would have taken to sign him throughout much of the draft, but ultimately did not come up with it. So, the pick from the Cardinals was more of a courtesy pick at that point because they drafted him without him hearing about it. So, they had to know he was not going to take their offer, which is why the term “courtesy” is being used here. Bottom Line: Kollin chose OSU over this draft! At least everything short of a perfect draft slot and a financial package that NO ONE could expect anyone to turn down. That's along the same lines as how he's continued to choose OSU in this era of NIL bidding wars as well. Those who got drafted have until the 27th to decide what they're going to do, but Kollin announced his intentions immediately, which goes to show how excited he is to come back and help this team win. He is as loyal as it gets and made this choice because he loves OSU and Stillwater, and he wants to win for this program, the University, his coaches, and the fans. Talk about Loyal and True! I think we can all agree this Super Bowl Sunday that Shrinkflation is wrong. If you are going to sell less in a package, make the package smaller. Stop using deception to rationalize a rise in price to consumers. Either provide more to the consumer, or make your product so good that they don't care that they get less. As a consumer I reward honesty and quality. While we are at it let's also hold companies accountable for the crap that they put in our foods to make them taste better, last longer or cost less.

#GainzDealerTipofTheDay Major Deadlift KEY👇 Sit “BACK” into the hips! ➡️ One of the most common deadlift mistakes I see in a lot of lifters is starting with the hips either too high or too low at the start of the lift. One of my favorite ways to remedy this is to sit back until you feel the load in your glutes. This will create an “anchor” with your hips and from there you call pull your chest up and push with your legs to initiate the lift. If the hips are in the right spot, it will feel like the weight is going to “leverage” itself right off the ground due to the tension felt in the glutes at this time. The hip height on this is going to look different on everyone depending on individual leverages, but the sensation and overall function of the cue will be the same. At the start of a deadlift, we want our hips at the highest they can be with our shoulders in line with the bar. This cue will help to accomplish that! Wuthering Waves is doing their crossover with Cyberpunk Edgerunners. They also did this Developer Deep Dive on their channel today. What struck me was how Western Devs don't talk like this anymore: - We need to push harder for better optimization and compatibility. - We always want to bring you a better game experience. The whole interview is like this, about delivering what gamers want. The focus on the gamer is relentless. Western interviews tend to be more about "what WE wanted to do" which is more dev as storyteller focus and "if you don't like it don't play it."

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

"the people who struggle with coding agents are those who try to push their way too hard. partially why I find coding with agents easy is that I've led engineering teams before". this is a unique view on AI coding, that to maximize your output you have to "let go" a bit and accept that the way AI will build the project might not be 100% aligned with your way, it might not even be 100% correct, but it will push the project forward. and if you realize later that you don't like an approach, you can always go back to it later and iterate over it. so there's not always an absolute total gain, but the overall performance is what matters in the end.

After talking about Leaflit and her new AI Rigging tool in the last stream and I have to say, the Artists had it coming. The good ones will always remain, but the subpar Artists will directly compete with her tool and this is a GOOD thing. Free market of ideas baby ! Way to many times I got declined for some bs reason, like political stance or virtue signalling. This new tool WILL get better and better and eventually be a valid competitor in the art market. Remember guys, the state it is in now, is the worst it will ever be !

The age old debate about which grade gas to use for me is irrelevant. I feel that while 87 is cheaper, you get worst gas mileage. While 93 is more expensive, you get better gas mileage. The different in price may only be a few bucks if it’s even that high. What I would like to see is one grade that’s safe for all cars new and old. I never liked the idea of multiple grades as most people can’t tell the difference anyways, what do you use in your car? Do you feel it makes a difference? I would like to know what the general consensus is when it comes to this.

Abdul Carter's TWITCH is actually crazy. Carter is reportedly thought to be a better pass rusher coming out of college than even Aidan Hutchinson, Nick Bosa, and Will Anderson Jr. were according to an NFL scout. "Since 2015, Myles [Garrett] is the only pass rusher I have graded higher than Carter. He's the best talent in this draft." There is reportedly thought around the league that the Titans are currently leaning towards selecting Carter with the 1st overall pick. The Penn State edge rusher is an absolute FREAK 😳
