The new kickoff rules are the best rule change the NFL ever did. Prior to that, you'd get touchbacks nearly the entire game. It was 5 minutes of nothing. Now we're getting kick returns nearly the entire game. The flow of the game is so much better.

Please, the new kick off is honestly really good for the game. Majority was boot out the end zone touch back. Now the return % is up, explosive plays from kick off is up, and it’s more strategic with how kickers want to place their kicks.

The NFL kickoff is unwatchable for me. Might as well not give us another Bud Light commercial or just give them the ball at the 25.

In the NFL under old kickoff rules 1% of returns looked like this, 10% were returned to the 15-30, and 89% were touchbacks (True but completely made up statistics). I don’t mind the rule change, fight me.

Thats because in the last 10 or so years, everything the NFL has done…whether it’s added, taken away, or changed a rule, has been awful. The league sucks now. CFB is better in every way from the fans to the rules on the field.

The players took this from us. Not the NFL. If players would’ve actually kicked it just before the goal line making them return it or if players would’ve consistently returned it from their end zone then we’d still have this type of kickoff.
