It’s a whale shark. You’re fine. Humans kill far more of them than they do us.

Whale-sharks are just wholesome chunguses of the ocean.

That beautiful whale shark is the most docile majestic sea animal of all!

It's a whale shark and they're harmless. They don't have any teeth and are filter feeders.

First of all, generally, if you see a Remora swimming around by itself, there’s probably something bigger nearby… However, in this case, that something is a Whale Shark. They eat plankton and are harmless to humans.

That giant shadow is not the shark you should be scared of. Whale sharks are pretty harmless.

A whale shark. Beautiful and harmless. They quite like company.

Whale sharks are filter feeders and can be attracted to bubbles exhaled through a regulator due to them resembling potential food sources. A good example of this is in Gladden Spit (off Placencia, Belize) where whale sharks aggregate to feed on Cubera snapper spawn.

It’s a whale shark. They don’t eat humans. They eat krill mostly. I’d LOVE this experience!!

As soon as I saw that fish, I knew what was coming. That's a remora. They attach themselves to bigger things in the ocean, like sharks, using the big pad on their head. That one tried to attach itself to the diver's arm. Cute little bugger!

That's a whale shark. Unless you are a sardine, you are in no danger from it. If you want something to actually worry about, look how fast how this great white appears out of the murk. (despite the title, this wasn't an attack, just a saucy nose boop)

Whale sharks don't eat humans. They're actually fascinating creatures. Saw one during a dive, one of the most beautiful moments under water.

The real reason: the ocean doesn’t have to pay rent, has no responsibilities, zero student loans, and still chooses violence.

Like standing in the road as an 18 wheeler is coming... Harmless filter feeder though... Notice the lack of teeth They are like a starry sky from above view.

What’s trembling in this footage isn’t the camera. It’s the ancient human fear of the big and the unknown. This ocean giant may look like a dark void drifting closer, but it carries one of nature’s most peaceful designs. That “terrifying” mouth isn’t a weapon. It’s a living filter, opened to sieve tiny plankton without harming them. An 18-meter body like this is proof that power doesn’t have to be violence. Next to this titan, a human isn’t prey, just a visitor standing in front of greatness. The real danger isn’t the deep ocean. It’s the shallow mind that mistakes elegance for a monster.
