I am always flabbergasted by this argument. Do they really think we can believe stuff because we want something to be true or false? I truly don’t get it. It’s like saying they don’t believe in gravity because they want to fly. Facts don’t care if you believe in them or not.

Um, none of that is true. Believing in evolution doesn't disprove god, unless your god actually conflicts with evolution. That seems to be more of YOU problem. Despite evolution, your god remains unfalsifiable. Not impossible, is not evidence for ANYTHING.
