@EricMacLain Well said fellas. The committee of the ESPN Invitational screwed one of the most deserving teams because they think Bama would beat them. Not a fact, but a guess.

The precedent set here is that it really doesn't matter what results you have on the field. If the committee decides that 2 teams would be more of a marquee matchup and a bigger draw(translation= 💰) then too bad. Imagine a great college QB gets injured weeks 3 and 4 of the schedule and his team loses but they then run the table, smoking everyone they play. You have now set the precedent for a team like that to make the playoffs. Of course, this comes on the eve of a larger playoff. Oh well, no consequences... except to players, coaches and fans of Florida State University. Boycott the Orange Bowl.
