Trickledown economics has long been proven to be a long con by the ultra rich. It should have been called ‘syphon up economics’ because that’s its real intention, to suck up wealth from the bottom and the middle to the top. If you build from the bottom up and the middle out, borrowing to invest is an absolutely sound strategy which is self funding in the mid to long term. Mark Carney understands that. When you invest in people they spend that money in the economy. When you spend on unfunded tax cuts, that money disappears from the economy and NEVER and I mean it NEVER delivers the fantasy growth conservatives always promise. Mark Carney is the hope Canada needs in this right now and I urge Canadians to lend him your vote to re-energise Canada in this moment of Trump’s self inflicted pain on the world.
