You’ve seen the injury report… When you first see it, it’s fresh and some of the cuts are wide open, it’s jarring. He was this close to maybe losing his right eye… It’s tough and he’s still battling with his concussion and it happened about 11 days ago or something like that… He’s healing. Matt Barrows talks about receiving a text to report to Kyle Shanahan’s office to get an update on the car accident • Kyle had initially told 14 people about the car accident when it first happened. He did not give them directions about who they could and couldn’t tell • There was 1 member from the media who was told about the accident prior to it being reported on social media— the 1 reporter was not Tim Kawakami • Kyle is still dealing with the concussion. His symptoms are being overly emotional, not being able to listen to loud music and having trouble watching film. Monday was the first day he was able to watch a full practice worth of film. He was encouraged by that. When he got home that night, his headache resumed and then he saw the report about the young women being blamed • Once Kyle saw the reports of the 21 year old being blamed he was upset because she wasn’t to blame. The couple initially insisted that the accident wasn't their fault until I mentioned that I had a dashcam. The woman told me to leave, saying it was none of my business, and even asked, "Tu hai kaun?" I then informed them that there was a police station nearby and told them I was heading there with the dashcam footage. I also asked the rider to come with me. Although he was hesitant at first, he agreed. At that point, the couple suddenly changed their stance and agreed to take the rider to the hospital and pay for the damages. #DriveResponsibly

Kyle Larson shared that the Busch family expressed their appreciation for the "Tiny Kyle" namerail in last week's Coke 600, and also that it got a good laugh out of Brexton. His wife Katelyn has been keeping in contact with Samantha Busch who shared that with them.
