Matt Barrows talks about receiving a text to report to Kyle Shanahan’s office to get an update on the car accident • Kyle had initially told 14 people about the car accident when it first happened. He did not give them directions about who they could and couldn’t tell • There was 1 member from the media who was told about the accident prior to it being reported on social media— the 1 reporter was not Tim Kawakami • Kyle is still dealing with the concussion. His symptoms are being overly emotional, not being able to listen to loud music and having trouble watching film. Monday was the first day he was able to watch a full practice worth of film. He was encouraged by that. When he got home that night, his headache resumed and then he saw the report about the young women being blamed • Once Kyle saw the reports of the 21 year old being blamed he was upset because she wasn’t to blame.
