Better angle of Sabrina’s drive: her last step is longer, which might throw people off, but it’s clearly *towards* the basket, not into Lexie. And the hip-to-hip contact from a defender not in legal guarding position is way too much to ignore

While u may not like the rule, maybe this will finally convince you that when a defender isn't in legal guarding position, and his foot causes the dribbler to fall, it is simply a foul on the defender... no matter how much it sucks for Horford, it's always a foul

Only LeBron James gets away with THIS without media criticism. He drives to the rim, purposely throws is arm back to elbow the defender in the face, and he gets a wide open layup because the guy guarding him was knocked silly. So instead of the basket being waved off, and LeBron being assessed a flagrant foul, he has the AUDACITY to get in the officials face to scream at him for a foul. In what world should the defender be given a foul because his face made contact with LeBron’s elbow?? He should be embarrassed. NEVER compare this guy to Michael Jordan.

I remember SGA was mad at the refs that game since he wouldn’t get the calls he normally does in the NBA. The film doesn’t lie: when SGA is reffed by FIBA refs, he is great but the defense can guard him and can STOP him. The NBA has turned into the WWE. Refs don’t let the defense play defense anymore.
