i tried Framer Agent to build a brand guidelines website template, something i've meant to do for a while. a site i can swap a logo, nudge a colour, update the type, and send a link instead of re-exporting a pdf nobody opens. a few observations on the AI process: - i started with references. pulled together a handful of minimalist grid layouts and had Claude describe the visual style back to me. you can do the same inside Framer, feeding it the references directly. - from there i had it write a detailed prompt aimed at that exact style, then asked it to break it into a few smaller steps. then i fed those into the agent, one at a time. - the scaffolding stage is the satisfying part. for something this grid-driven (the columns, the spans, the whole underlying structure) watching it land in seconds is hard to look away from. - but then i still have to sweat the details: text alignment, line-heights, image sizes. i don't mind it at all; it's the part i like, making these design decisions. the strength of the agent is the mundane work. point it at the stuff that eats your time: cleaning up the build, adding responsiveness, dropping in small effects, checking text and colour styles stay consistent, writing alt text for every image. then i get the time back for the parts of web design that are actually fun. 🤝

You don't understand... Higgsfield MCP + Claude just automated AI film making. Every single step you used to grind through to make an AI movie, you can now do 10x faster. Drop the script into Claude Opus 4.8 and say: "Here's my script. Break it into a full shotlist. Shot number, scene, shot type, camera move and the action in each frame." Now the whole film is mapped, shot by shot. - Pull your assets. Ask Claude: "From this shotlist, list every character, every location and every prop across the whole film." That's your build list. The stuff you would need to generate and give as references in next steps. - Build the character sheets. Higgsfield MCP is connected, so Claude has hands now to do stuff directly. I built a PDF compression tool instead of paying for it. It's funny because the more I get into AI, the more I realize how much I've stopped spending on SaaS subscriptions. Here are 5 things I used to pay for: 1/ PDF Compression → $9/mo 2/ Remove BG → $35/mo 3/ Typefully → $12.5/mo 4/ Link Shortener → $10/mo 5/ Color Palette Generator → $5/mo I've already replaced half of these with AI, and they're way better because they are personal and custom. No weird features or ads. Everything is hosted locally so I'm not uploading my data to random servers. I truly believe AI is changing the way we interact with SaaS entirely. More and more people will just build their own tools instead of purchasing generic subscriptions. It's easier because you just tell AI what problem you have, and it automatically comes up with a custom solution for you. I am already starting doing it. In a few months, I'll have my own "Home" hub where I have a bunch of custom apps working for me. All powered by AI. Pretty exciting!
