Scripture doesn’t dance around the value of life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” “Children are a heritage from the Lord.” “You shall not murder.” We’ve reached a place where some celebrate the decision to end a life that is already fully formed, already capable of feeling pain, already made in the image of God… and they smile while they do it. That should never feel normal. It should never feel progressive. It should never feel like freedom. Real freedom is the courage to protect the weakest among us. Real strength is the woman who chooses life even when it’s hard. Real progress is a culture that refuses to sacrifice its children on the altar of convenience. I’m not here to shame anyone who’s already walked through this pain. God’s mercy is bigger than our worst decisions. I’d like to reemphasize this. The dust you see is not settling. It is still going uphill when it flies over the horizon and out of view. It is like a rocket that has curved below the horizon but is still climbing. If you get this, it makes sense why it clears the view so fast. /1
