this scene is so important for Dante's characterization

Man devil may cry 3 was sooooo fucking good, they could have done a 1:1 of this and it'll be perfect, it's a shame they never made a show of this game v;

more reason to play the games instead

I play the fuck out of 3 when it came out on PC, one of my favorite games next to dino crisis 2... Shame capcom forgor about those games v':

Netflix dante could never

netflix dante is such a irony poisoned version when they could have just played it straight from the start

He doesnt feel like the main character and is just there for the sake of the story since it's called DMC

i was so sad when he lost so many fights in season 1

@Kurssess Lost them all in 2 as well

@Kurssess brah

lady kissin dante is equivalent to murder

dante and lady's, because of her, he takes things seriously and because of him, lady is willing to rely on others rather than forcing the world's weight on her shoulders. both of them completing each other's arc

Him leaning in to try to kiss Lady is the only thing Dante has ever done that’s close to being “corny” but even then it gets a pass because get to see some of his humanity in that attempted kiss, he’s only 19 in the game after all

Nah, not this one. Dante has already grown on this scene. The important scene for his character development is the one before this. When she told off Dante "what do you know about family? You're a demon"

wdym not this one they all count

How could they get him so wrong man

This is what I’m talking about and these other dumb ass niggas talking about some “it’s character development for the Netflix anime” like shut the FCK up that shit is trash asf that is not Dante and Vergil those are some bitch ass mfers this is why I’m so damn mad smfh

This moment is just so sexy and perfect for Dante’s arc in DMC3.

I will always love that she adopted the name, Lady, with pride.

Relatively recently did I realize that Dante essentially "Awakes to Justice" like Sparda in DMC1's prologue, understanding his father and accepting his demon half, giving him the clarity and strength to grow as a person and definitively defeat Vergil in the end.

Makes me emotional abit, lady was an important catalyst for a lot of events during DMC 3 but the most important(for me) being a positive influence on Dante. who truly at the early stages did not take anything seriously nor care to, but meeting lady changed him. my fav dmc tbh.

This one scene has better writing than the entirety of Devil May Flix

So the show takes place before dmc3 right? How do they explain this change of character in lady? She's clearly not interested in Dante like that

They was never supposed to get together but hey let’s force a relationship

Gonna be honest, seeing this: I can see why the netflix show went the way they did with the romance. I'm not here to shit on the show btw, I like it.

The fight is also so important for Lady's cause you see her not being on Dante's level but still doing cool shit in cutscenes, then you fight her and it's one of the easier bosses of the game, puts into perspective how while you were styling, she's surviving here yet keeps going

Agreed. On a side note, it's also a key seen in why I think out of all the DMC girls, Lady would make the most sense if they were to be together. I'm not a hardcore DanxLady shipper, but I am a Lady fan and her family situation helped Dante truly accept his lineage and decide how he would carry himself moving forward.

I always wondered why is she so cheerful and carefree in the new one.

how did Lady even miss those shots?

That reminds me that fans are afraid of recharging and magazines

@Lythero Honestly kinda love this because it’s the first time we see Lady take a break. She’s been fighting from the moment she arrived and now she’s taking a moment to process things. You can see the weight on her shoulders dissipate as she slides down the bookshelf.

@Lythero Adi is gonna make them fuck in this library

Netflix really shits on everything...

Here what when the season 3 of the OG show happens I want them to do this scene make Dante serious and cold for this scene I want so develop next season

It was obvious the kiss was almost there

Every scene is important for him. Game story is literally what game itself called.Dante's awakening. He walks the path of Sparda and awakens to the same justice. There is a reason why every boss were either honorable warriors or knew Sparda directly. That's why this is the best dmc

This SINGLE scene solos the entire series.

He has so much aura man

Why is the voice acting so ass here

Shame the Netflix series messed up both characters.

Lady and Dante relationship in the game is so well written compared to Netflix Lady who swears 24/7 at Dante

Devil May Cry the first video game I ever completed
