This strange starch shrinks visceral fat in randomized, calorie-controlled trials. I’m also planning a masterclass letter on visceral fat reduction. What do you want to know?

Out of curiosity, whenever I eat carbs, even a few, my hunger skyrockets. It does not matter if I ate or not, if I'm full of not. It feels like an addiction.

Lactoferrin does it more effectively.

This would be interesting. I want to know the best way to help my body access it to get rid of it and how dietary changes would affect a keto/carnivore lifestyle.

I’d love to see you explore the relationship between visceral fat, hyperinsulinemia and skeletal muscle. In particular: how much does increasing muscle mass and improving muscle insulin sensitivity independently contribute to reducing visceral fat? That muscle–metabolic connection deserves more attention. 💪

Questions most often asked by clients: -Why do I have more visceral fat than other people? -Is there a way to target visceral fat? -Are there precautions I can take to reduce putting more on? -Where does supplementation fit in, if anywhere?

No need for master class. Just share what you know

My question here Nick is ... How is gut reacting to it? SIBO, FODMAP, ... you know, things like that.

@nicknorwitz Could you please cover the keto rash some time! Many people get it but it’s rarely discussed!

Fine print worth adding: that trial was 37 people, 8 weeks, 40g a day of supplemented resistant starch. Cooled potatoes, rice and beans carry the same starch, but only single-digit grams per serving. Real result, 2.8kg down, but the dose was doing the work.

Using it in clinic for at least a decade. Marvellous stuff. Blunts post-prandial blood sugar excursion markedly & all sorts of biome benefits

How is losing visceral fat in women who are peri or menopausal different than men of similar age? Is there a different standard for women?

What dosage should you start on tesamorelin, and how often do you need to check your IGF-1 if you have a mitotic clock in the 82% percentile? I am 63 and homozygous ALZ.

I eat resistant starch on a regular basis. With potatoes, other than russet potatoes, does reheating cause any of the starch to change back?
