This streamer upgraded their fully hardware CRT overlay. It's a camera pointed at real hardware. They can step out of the overlay and wave at the stream. Real lights go off for a raid alert. Been following this project for a while and the improvements are incredible.

I made a stream overlay that looks like a flipbook, so it looks like chat is animating me in real-time. Similar to a sketched drawing come to life on top of an animation table. They can flip the pages on the screen to look at the in-between frames.
