[Announcement] Poll Winner + Teaser! Hey, everyone! I'm back with a little announcement. Alright, I'm putting this out here so everyone knows what's up and where we're heading next. So, for those who missed it, we held a patron only poll recently to decide which game we should work on next. Honestly, I did it to answer all those voices that were asking—no, scratch that—demanding another Sicae update. And the response was wild. A lot of you showed up, and I couldn't ignore the chance to see Sicae shine even brighter. Well, the poll's closed now, and guess what? Sicae took the win with a solid 10% lead!📷 Which... yeah, I totally wasn't expecting, considering how insanely popular MBML has been for years now. 😅 I mean, was it the story finally picking up steam? The cliffhanger messing with your heads? Or maybe just the dread of having to wait another year for Sicae if we switched to MBML? I still can't put my finger on it, but hey, I'm not complaining. Not gonna lie, I'm hyped too—really hyped—to see where Sicae takes us next. So here we are: another Sicae update is on the way to wrap up the first main story arc before we switch gears back to MBML. Yup, we're closing out the Gathering of the Forgotten Names series with Episode 7. Just to be crystal clear, this doesn't mean the game's over—not by a long shot. After Episode 7, we're diving into a whole new series that'll take us even deeper down the rabbit hole that is Sicae. And with the year almost coming to a close, I really want to take a second to thank all my patrons—especially the OGs who've been rocking with me since day one. You know who you are. Thank you for believing in me and this crazy project of ours. We've come a long way, and I couldn't have done it without you guys. 😀 Now, as for Episode 7, development isn't open just yet—I'm still in my resting phase, trying to recharge. But once things start rolling, I'll be sure to catch you all in the first status report for the release. That's it for now. Catch you later, everyone! -Niichan

🔥⛳️ 4 year old Caden just blew his dads mind! Not a dry eye watching this fabulous moment! … and dad’s reaction PURE GOLD! 4-year-old Caden Uyemura just did something most grown men only dream about. It’s Caden’s first time ever stepping onto a real golf course. Not a backyard plastic set. Not mini-golf. An actual course Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, Colorado. Nine holes on the par-3 layout. His dad Justin is already proud just watching him make it all the way to the final hole without melting down or quitting. That alone is a win when you’re dealing with a four-year-old and a golf club on a hot June day. 🔥Then this happens🔥 Caden lines up over a neon green ball on the 9th tee. Tiny orange polo. Denim shorts. Little sneakers. Club almost as tall as he is. Dad’s voice in the background: “Okay, set up … perfect. Whenever you’re ready, buddy scoot a little closer. Perfect.” Kid takes a swing. Misses the first one. Then he steps back up when chaos and pure joy collide. The ball launches. Dad’s camera follows it. And somehow … somehow this little guy stripes it toward the green. The ball is tracking. It’s online. It’s got legs. Instant replay drops. The flag is waving. The ball is still moving. And the entire internet collectively holds its breath because a 4-year-old on his first real course just put a ball in the hole from 65 yards! 🚨Hole-in-one🚨 Justin stops recording just long enough to run onto the tee box, tackle his son, and give him the biggest hug he can. Caden is smiling ear to ear and laughing the entire time. This isn’t staged. This isn’t a pro coaching a prodigy for content. This is a dad taking his son out, letting him play the whole nine and capturing the exact second the kid does something unforgettable. You can feel Justin’s energy through the phone. That mix of “I can’t believe he made it this far” and “Did that just happen?” is the same feeling every parent gets when their kid suddenly levels up in real time. Caden didn’t just hit a golf ball. He reminded every parent watching why we drag the kids outside in the first place. Play more. Film more. Let them swing.

🧵 They Lied About Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.” O’Reilly Just Set the Record Straight. . Bill O'Reilly didn’t hold back: 🔥 “It’s a bunch of bull… but we have NO CHOICE.” Here’s why ⬇️ The bill doesn’t gut Medicaid. It supervises it. Just like Bill Clinton did in the ’90s. 👉 If you’re able-bodied, have no kids, and refuse to work, you don’t get benefits. That's not cruelty — that’s justice for the taxpayers footing the bill. Democrats refuse to cut a penny of waste. But they’ll gladly: ❌ Cut border security ❌ Slash defense ❌ Protect benefits for illegal immigrants Media keeps lying. They say the bill “hurts the poor.” 👎 But it actually protects the system from fraud — the same reforms once supported by Clinton and even Obama’s economists. . Senator Thom Tillis voted no. Why? Because North Carolina's Medicaid match dropped from 6% to 3.5%. So he sold out President Donald J. Trump Trump… for federal cash. And he’s too scared to even defend his vote on air. If this bill fails, here’s what happens: ❗ Recession ❗ Media declares Trump a failure ❗ Dems win midterms ❗ His legacy gets crushed This bill isn’t just a policy fight. It’s a war for Trump’s presidency — and America’s soul. Bill O’Reilly said it best: 📢 “This is it. It’s all on the line for Trump.” — 🇺🇸 Patriots, let’s be clear: This isn’t just Trump’s fight — it’s OURS. It’s time to stand for truth, honesty, and hard-earned justice. 🛑 NO more free rides 🛑 NO more cowardice 🛑 NO more lies 📣 Share this. Tag your Senator. Demand accountability.

🗣️ Mikel Arteta has to make changes for Crystal Palace. 🔄 “December is the month where players get injured more than ever. If there’s one thing Mikel Arteta struggles with. It's rotation and Arsenal are paying the price for it right now. “Benjamin White playing three games in a row straight off a long-term injury. That's pretty unnecessary. Gabriel playing a friendly when he reportedly wasn't 100%, that was questionable as well. “Situation with Benjamin White, he's now out, Gabriel out, soon to return. Saliba not fully fit, even Mikel said that himself. He had to rush him back. That was a risk, which breeds more injuries. It's a vicious cycle. “Hincapie had an injury the other day against Everton, where Calafiori sort of like went into him and he even had to have like a look like a like a deep heat or something on on him like a bit of pain relief. “So he's probably not even look hundred percent. No one seemed to pull that up at the end of the match, but he didn't look like he was moving that comfortably. He did complete the 90 minutes. Of course, Mosquera. Another one who's not available. I feel like at the moment with Arsenal there's one position just gets absolutely pummeled. So at the moment, it's the defence. At the start of the season, it was all the strikers. So now we're packed up front, we're ruined in defence. So there's not many options. “I read an article the other day where it said, December is the month where players they get injured more than ever because there's so many games, the load is so high, it's just it's just too much. “I mean, even Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United, the most durable player in football pretty much, and he got injured from a hamstring the other night. It just goes to show what this period's like for the players. “So I think Mikel has a duty to look after the players, they just had a week off. It's the first week they've had off in since like international break and it's not going to change until February, so it's not going to stop. “Mikel has a duty to look after these players and make sure this doesn't derail our season. Arsenal haven't won the Carabao Cup since 1993, before I was even born. I've never seen us win it. I've always wanted us to win it, but I'm not going to get upset if we don't win it. I think Mikel's under a lot of pressure this season to bring home silverware but if it's not the Premier League or Champions League, it's going to be the same result. “I think this match is a match for rotation. I think it's a match for Noni Maduweke, Ethan Wainieri. Marli Salmon, even Josh Nichols at right-back. Timber needs a rest. Saliba probably needs a rest. Hincapie may need a rest, given the extent of his injury. I think the players are on the limit at the moment. “I think we're very close to being beyond the limit for Arsenal. We're in a very good position, thanks to Mikel and the players and the staff, everything right now. But let's not ruin that over a Carabao Cup. “We need to win a trophy, but a Carabao Cup isn't going to relieve the pressure on Mikel Arteta, I'm afraid. It's just not. You know what's coming if he wins it. Oh, he's not won the Champions League. He's not won the Premier League. Doesn't matter. “Obviously, it would be delightful to win. a trophy, like even when he won the FA Cup, he has won a trophy for Arsenal, major trophy, but that was a long time ago, and this season's the season in my opinion. “He needs to prioritise what matters for him. Here's a starting 11 I'd go with. Got Josh Nichols in there, Marli Salmon. I know Josh and that have been actually training with the first team ahead of this match, so. I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of him in the squad. “You never know, he might start. Knowing Arteta though, he probably won't start, but I'd like to see him start. What's your opinion on it? Should Arteta rotate massively?“

Harrison Bader on Instagram: “When I think about the 2024 Mets I dont even know where to begin. Maybe I start at the very beginning going 0-5 to open the season. Maybe I jump forward to staring at a 22-33 record approaching June. Maybe I think about our schedule down the stretch. LA to STL for the day then to COL. Or maybe to finish the season ATL to MKE back to ATL back to MKE for the Division Series. On paper this all sounds tough but as Im typing, all of these challenges seemingly start to minimize. Now Im thinking about the magic. Now when I think of the 2024 Mets I think about "OMG." I think about the concert we were all apart of in full uniform in the middle of the infield after a win. I think about the Grimace first pitch 👀. I think about the comebacks, the walk-offs. I think about the wins in must win games. I think about the fans, the energy. I think about the ZOO. I think about what a group of grown men playing a kids game chose to do with the time they had left together. Every season presents challenges but its how you choose to collectively attack those challenges as a team that defines your success. The 2024 Mets unfortunately cant hang any banners or parade down 5th Avenue hoisting up a trophy. A trophy would undeniably cement this team in history but just because we didnt get it doesnt mean none of this never happened. The days, the times, the stories will forever remain as some of the most sacred moments ive ever had suiting up to play baseball. That means something - that stands for something. I cant thank my teammates enough for the time spent, the respect and love I have for every single Met in there is tremendous. I never stop learning and listening and watching and to do it alongside you guys was my ultimate pleasure. Thank you Steve, thank you Alex. Thank you everyone - you know who you are. I wasnt just a Met, I was a 2024 Metro and if you know you know. What a gift🤟🏼💜🤟🏼”

THEY SOLD OUR CHILDREN FOR VOTES. THEN CALLED US RACIST AND FAR RIGHT FOR TELLING THE TRUTH. There comes a moment in this fight when you see the system for what it really is. Not broken. Not failed. Designed to protect itself at the expense of children. You realise they didn't just ignore the abuse, they enabled it. They didn't just fail the victims, they betrayed them. And when communities stood up and said "enough," they weren't listened to. They were attacked and persecuted. Called far-right. Called racist. Called extremist. All for the crime of caring that children were being dragged from school gates, raped, and trafficked while those paid to protect them looked the other way. This was never a scandal. This was policy. Industrial-scale abuse. Sanctioned by silence. Protected by power. Enabled by cowards in every institution that claims to serve the public. For years, they tried to break people like me. Demonise us. Discredit us. Destroy us. Because we refused to be silence by up about what they were covering up. But here's what they never understood: you can't silence the truth forever. And now we're at the endgame. Either they succeed in whitewashing the National Inquiry or politicians start going to prison. There's no middle ground anymore. No further inquiries. No additional reviews. No more "lessons learned." Just accountability. Finally. Watch my latest with James English. Watch it. Share it. Know we're not backing down. This isn't just a conversation. It's evidence. It's testimony. It's proof that we told the truth while they told lies. The cover-up is over. The reckoning has begun. _________ We uncovered the evidence. We proved these were racially motivated crimes. We showed how Labour Party politicians sold children for votes. We exposed every layer of the cover-up. And we forced the national inquiry into the Pakistani Rape Gangs. We got this far because we refused to stay silent. No matter what they did to us. ❌ First, they called us racists and far-right. ❌ Then they encouraged Pakistani gangsters and Islamists to attack us. ❌ When this failed, they launched Operation Hexagon and sent the police after us. ❌ My home was repeatedly dawn-raided by gangs of police officers. ❌ Both local and national newspapers published lies about me to try and smear me. ❌ Senior prosecutors in the CPS even fabricated charges desperate to silence our demands for justice. I spent 3 years on bail as case after case against me collapsed in court. My mother died before I was able to clear my name. Now the truth is out. In detail. The Pakistani Rape Gangs are real. And their victims, little White girls, number in the hundreds of thousands. I am Raja Miah. For six years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. So now the question is: will you stand with me and help make sure the National Inquiry we have all fought for is not a whitewash? This isn’t just about justice for the past. It’s about stopping it from ever happening again. If we act together, we can hold every complicit official to account. We can tear down the system that protected them. And yes, if we push far enough, this government could fall and politicians will go to prison. If there’s even a one-in-a-million chance of achieving that, wouldn’t you take ten seconds to back the campaign that forced this inquiry into existence? 🔴 Subscribe to my newsletter – it’s free. Chris Bosh explains how Kobe Bryant taught him that greatness is mostly an unglamorous routine “If you’re trying to go after something, it’s a process and you cannot cheat it. That is one thing you cannot do. You can’t cheat the process, and even then that doesn’t guarantee you anything. You have to have your stuff together because you want to win, that doesn’t guarantee a win. You just have to make sure you’re doing your process.” “I had the chance to have a conversation with Kobe. We were friendly and we tried to have dinner once a year. He always talked about loving the process of what you do. That’s important. You have to love what you do and love putting the work in because some days are going to suck. It’s always going to suck to go in the gym and shoot 10,000 free throws.” “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, Kobe, this is amazing.’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s cool, but think about my day. I get up at 4:30am, take my kids to school, I lift weights, I go to practice, I pick them up from school, then I’ve got to do treatment because I’m 35 years old in the league. Then I’ve got to do treatment, and by the time I finish all that stuff, the day’s over. I don’t do anything else. This is all I do.’” “If you take on that approach to something that you love, if you can stick with it even in those tough days, that’s where you want to be.” “You gotta love the grind, man. That’s the part I always like to think of anytime something gets hard. If I’m pursuing a goal and I want to quit, it’s going to come. It’s going to come. It’s okay.” “How many people would quit right now? That’s the first thing I think about. Then I keep going. I’m like, okay, I’m not going to let this drop me off and keep me away from what I’m doing.”

An Anthropic intern watched me make $38 in three minutes at Equator Coffee I was on Market Street. Laptop open. BTC 5-minute markets cycling on screen. A green fill popped. She was behind me in line. Anthropic badge on her lanyard. "Wait. Is that Claude running trades" I told her. Claude Code. Four repos. $25 a month. She sat down across from me without asking. "I'm on the evals team. We benchmark Claude's reasoning on stuff way simpler than this. You're letting it run a full execution loop with real money" I showed her the first repo. 86 million trades. Claude finds which wallets consistently win. Reverse-engineers their timing. Copies their exits. "So you're not writing trading rules. Claude is finding them on its own from the data" Exactly. It watches Binance and Coinbase diverge from Chainlink. When both exchanges move $50+ the same way and Chainlink lags - it enters. 94% follow-through. Another trade closed on screen. +$41. "How often does it trade" About 55 times a day. Out of 400+ windows. Kills 85%. Only enters when order book imbalance confirms the price signal. Three commands. 500+ markets. Claude scores them in 20 minutes. She watched the screen for a while. My setup: Claude API - $20/mo VPS - $5/mo Everything else - free 30 days. 1,847 trades. 71% win rate. +$14,200. Copytrade here: She leaned back. "We spend all day testing what Claude can do in theory. You just showed me what it does in practice" I published the full breakdown that night. She DM'd me the next morning. "My team lead read your article. He wants to know if you'll consult for us" I told him to read it again. Everything's in there. Too late to gatekeep.

Three days ago I asked myself a dumb question. It was so stupid I was actually ashamed to Google it. Can AI earn money while I sleep? Not saving time. Not automating routine. I mean putting real money into my account while I am not looking at the screen. Everyone says ClawdBot will change how we work. Automation. Task management. Smart replies. But I was sitting in my kitchen thinking about something else entirely. You know that feeling when you look at a tool and realize everyone is using only 1% of its potential? It is like being given a race car and only using it to drive to the store for bread. I decided to test it. I started a notebook. I record everything. > Day One I started with something simple. I gave Clawdbot a task. Find wallets on Polymarket where the numbers do not add up. Where the profit is too high for the win rate. Where the result smells like a system rather than luck. It thought for 14 minutes. I had time to pour a coffee and forget about it. Then the screen flashed. 4 addresses. I scrolled through the first three in a minute. Big bets on politics. They guessed the election. Classic. On the fourth one I stopped. Not because it was the most profitable but because I did not understand what I was looking at. The wallet was not trading politics or sports or anything people write reviews about. It was trading the weather. I read it three times. Weather. Will it be 9 degrees in London tomorrow? Will it rain in Tokyo? These are markets I would not even click on by accident. Then I looked at the numbers. > It started with $27. It is now at $63,853. $27 is two trips to McDonald's. It is nothing. $63,853 is a new car or a down payment on an apartment. It is two years of someone's salary. Between those two numbers was only one thing. Thousands of bets on rain. I closed the tab. Opened it again. Checked if it was a glitch. Real dollars. On markets that look like a bad joke. > Day Two I could not get that wallet out of my head. I went to look at its transaction history. I expected to find one big win that explained everything. A lucky hurricane forecast. Instead I saw thousands of small bets. Boring. "Will the temperature in New York be above 15 degrees?" Then I noticed the detail that finally broke my brain. Its win rate: 33%. It loses more often than it wins. 2 out of 3 bets go to zero. Any normal person with that result would be posting about how the market is unfair. Yet this wallet is sitting on $63,000 in profit. How? I started deconstructing the trades. After an hour I got it. When it loses, it loses 10 or 20 cents. When it wins, it takes $1.00. Loses 9 times in a row? Lost $1.80. Wins 1 time? Got $10.00. > This is not trading. It is math that works as long as you do not interfere with your emotions. Here is how it works. Weather is one of the most predictable things on the planet. Governments invest billions in satellites. Data is updated every 2 or 3 hours. Precision to a tenth of a degree. This data is public. But Polymarket is not a weather station. It updates its markets with a delay of 6 or 8 hours. Imagine the situation. 6 AM. The weather service updated the forecast. The probability that London reaches 9 degrees tomorrow rose to 80%. Algorithms everywhere already recalculated the data. But on Polymarket the YES button is still sitting there for 10 cents. Because the market has not woken up yet. This bot sees the difference. It buys YES for 10 cents when the real probability is already 80%. It is not guessing. It is buying what is essentially already known. It just waits a day and collects the dollar. 10 cents turn into a dollar. On information available to anyone who can read weather APIs. That evening I called a friend. He has been trading for 3 years. He sits in analytical chats. Draws support levels. I asked him: "How was the last month?" "I broke even. The market is tough right now. Too much noise." I looked at the screen. A bot betting on rain with a 33% win rate. Profit: $63,853. My friend with 3 years of experience and hundreds of hours of analysis. Profit: $0. Who is doing it wrong? I am not asking you to take my word for it. The blockchain does not lie: > Day Three I decided to dig deeper. I looked at the wallet description. I expected something complex. A hedge fund. A team of developers. Secret data sources. I found one line: Claude plus public weather APIs. Ordinary Claude. The one on your phone. Connected to free weather services. No secret stations. No insiders. No millions for infrastructure. Just an AI doing what any of us could do. But we are too lazy. Or bored. Or we think it is too simple to work. If someone already built this with basic Claude and free APIs... What happens when Clawdbot gets direct access to trading? > Day Four I watched the wallet in real time. First bet: loss. Second bet: loss. Third bet: loss. I thought: this is it. The statistics are collapsing. Fourth bet: loss. Fifth bet: loss. Down $12 in an hour. I was ready to write a post about how I overestimated this. Sixth bet: Temperature in Chicago. Win. +$87. Seventh bet: Win. +$94. By evening: 9 losses. 5 wins. Daily total: +$385. No emotions. No posts about injustice. No strategy changes after a loss. Just the next bet. I wrote to my friend. The one who has been trading for 3 years. "How was your day?" "Down $200. Market makers caught my stop loss again." I looked at the screen. A bot with no posts and no loud claims. +$385 for the day on rain bets. My friend with 3 years of experience and dozens of books. Minus $200 and a post about how the system is against him. > Day Five I woke up with a thought that kept me up all night. It finally hit me. It is not about the weather. It is not about APIs. It is not that the bot is "smarter". > It is about what the bot does NOT have: an ego that hates being wrong. No urge to revenge-trade. No boredom from repetition. My friend trades against the market. He tries to be smarter than the crowd. This bot trades against human nature. And nature loses every day. Clawdbot found me this wallet in 14 minutes. The weather bot turned $27 into $63,000 on markets everyone else thinks are trash. Both use the same principle. Do something simple. Remove emotions. Repeat. I do not know when Clawdbot will start trading on its own. Maybe in a month. Maybe in a year. But I know one thing. While we discuss if it is possible... Someone already set up their bot and went to live their life. Right now as you read this. Somewhere a weather service updated a forecast. Polymarket is sleeping. The bot is already entering a position. And my friend is writing a post about how market makers do not let honest people earn. Guess who wakes up tomorrow with money in their account?

this fitness app is doing $600k/month with duolingo-like onboarding, here's why. onboarding: - an elephant mascot greets you first → duolingo tone in a category full of clinical spreadsheet apps. - it shows you the ranking system before any tracking feature → you learn what you're playing for before you learn how to play. - hold the screen to commit → a physical action, tiny sunk cost, you've already done something. - build your own avatar → it's your app now, not theirs - 40+ questions on goals, experience, training history → every answer makes the plan feel more custom. - you earn your first rank from the answers alone → a win before you've touched a barbell - review prompt fires right at that moment → peak motivation, highest possible rating. - paywall loops with no exit, only "try free for 7 days". that review placement is the actual business. it's how you get 30k+ reviews sitting at 4.7. review volume is an app store ranking input, and liftoff is top 3 on 700+ keywords. the onboarding isn't just converting downloads but it's manufacturing the ratings that produce the next batch. these guys stopped chasing trends. found 3 or 4 formats that converted, pov training clips, day in the life, transformation arcs, and ran them into the ground with fresh execution each time. i see app founders do this exact system adapted to the niche, somewhere in there we separated creation from scale. they built the original templates, a small team of editors multiplied them across platforms. this is where most solo founders get stuck. they either do everything themselves and burn out around 15 posts a month, or hire generically and lose whatever made the content work.

Long post alert. A few thank you's as well. ❤️ I feel bad I've really just got into the TTV game for the season 3 weeks in. As you know, Gridiron always takes priority for me at launch as I am nose to grindstone on covering as much about the game as I can. I truly appreciate you all rocking with me when it's a bit more sporadic. There are lots of elite players grinding TTV right now and it inspires me genuinely when I see you all growing and locking in on your craft. It's also amazing that so many of you choose to hang out given the choices! Over on the Gridiron side I also owe thank you's. All this coverage work and feedback is paying off. Big time. It's collaborative. #Madden26 If you want to shut down every formation, WE WILL TELL YOU (not just me) what front, stunt, coverage call, and who your user/switch stick rules are. The Discord has kicked it up so much this year and there's basically coverage residents in there giving advice at most hours of the day. That way you can get perspectives other than yours/my own on topics. They are great and answering things I am not (MUT sets, upcoming content, etc...) Here's a montage of just some clips of just today's stream. Some of these guys had seriously competent route combinations. Others were your average online player. Either way, we faced everything. Bunch. Trips TE. 4 Strong. Empty. 2x2 Tight. Doubles Flex Meta. And now with the Miami defense out for stunts/pressure/QB containment, two of my most thorough defensive game plans are fusing together and becoming really good together. Perfect complimentary rush + coverage rules. The YouTube channel WILL WIN YOU MORE GAMES (no strings attached) but it only scratches the surface. There's so much more. Maybe the best in coverage I've ever felt, all things considered. Yeah, aggs suck and CIT rates are super high. But the point is that we are prepared for when the game normalizes and still playing tight coverage in spite of that. Just keep generating turnover-worthy plays and usually (but not always) the player who wins that category wins the game. I also want to give a shout-out to the Gridiron Discord again, this time for the quality lab session questions and focus this yea. This group of dudes (and a couple gals too) is locked in as I've seen it in a bit. The questions and feedback in there has driven the Vault content more than ever. People have been labbing their tails off to memorize coverage rules and help one another. It's inspiring to see the growth and people graduating from days of just starting out and winning less than 50% of games online become stronger because we are applying football teaching together with a focus on learning what is reproducible inside a game's code. That's not easy, honestly. I'll have a film breakdown tomorrow out on talking about the most recent coverage updates I've installed from today's Twitch stream. I want to bring you more game tape/film study of tips in action with telestration. Again, thanks to everyone who's grinding this game. It's motivating.

Dear Friend, I wrote this book for you. For the past year, I have labored to create a product that will help you learn and master SQL. I have been there. I have felt the frustration of trying to learn SQL and not knowing where to begin. I have lived through the struggle of setting up a platform to run SQL queries. Most platforms require sign-ups and logins that create a headache for learners. I also know the challenge of finding proper SQL exercises that mirror the real-world experience of a data analyst. Yes, I have been in your shoes. That’s why I created SQL Essentials for Data Analysis: A 50-Day Hands-on Challenge Book (Go From Beginner to Pro). Yes, to give you a clear, practical path from beginner to confident SQL user. ✅Why SQL Still Matters You may be wondering if SQL still matters in 2025. The answer: it has never mattered more. SQL is the lingua franca of data. Data still lives in databases, and the only language it truly understands is SQL. Think about it, even in Python, SQL is there. You’ve probably heard about the powerful pandas library. Guess what? It also has some SQL. And don’t get me started on BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, and Databricks; the answer is the same: they all rely on SQL. SQL is the big shadow that hovers over everything data. This is why learning SQL is a must for data analysts, engineers, scientists, and anyone working with data. SQL connects everything: exploration, extraction, transformation, modeling, validation, and reporting. ✅Why I Wrote This Book Dear friend, I wanted to create a resource that gives you everything you need to learn SQL for data analysis. Quite often, resources are scattered across different places. You might learn theory in one place, search for datasets in another, and hunt for questions somewhere else. More often than not, the only place you can tackle SQL challenges is online. But online platforms usually focus on syntax and don’t reflect the messiness of real-world data. I wrote this book to give you the best of both worlds: theory and practice. I don’t want you to be worrying about where to find resources. I want you to focus only on learning SQL. If you are new to SQL or need a refresher on the fundamentals, Part 1 of the book has you covered. If you are looking for practice, Part 2 is 49 days of hands-on SQL challenges designed to mirror real-world tasks. Each day in the book is designed to feel like a mini project, rather than isolated exercises. Take Day 15: Standardize Climbers Data, for example: On this day, you’re not just writing a single query; you’re working with a dataset from start to finish. By combining these tasks, you experience a full data preprocessing workflow, just like a real project. You get to practice loading, transforming, cleaning, and validating data, all in one challenge. This approach makes every day a hands-on project, not just an isolated query. You’re learning how SQL is used in real-world scenarios, not just memorizing syntax. By the end of each day, you’ve solved a problem that feels meaningful and practical: yes, something that mirrors data analysts’ and engineers’ work in real life. In this book I use SQLite. I chose SQLite because it’s simple, lightweight, and runs on any system without complicated setups or cloud accounts. You don’t need to worry about complex configurations. SQLite allows you to focus entirely on learning SQL concepts, queries, and logic without distractions. You will just have to import it. I also structured the book for use in Jupyter or Google Colab notebooks. These are playgrounds for data analysts, engineers, and scientists. These environments are interactive and flexible. They let you run queries, visualize results, and experiment in real time. Using notebooks ensures that you can practice SQL while documenting your work and learning at your own pace, all in one place. No need for sign-ups. ✅Why 50 Days? I chose 50 days intentionally. Learning SQL isn’t a sprint; it’s a habit. You can’t truly master a language by cramming a few queries in one sitting. 50 days creates a commitment. You attach yourself to a goal, a tangible outcome. Every day is a small win, a step forward, and by the end of the journey, you’ve transformed your understanding of SQL. By spreading the learning over 50 days, you build momentum, consistency, and confidence. Think of it like training for a marathon. You don’t run 26 miles on the first day. You run a little each day, gradually building strength, endurance, and skill. By the end of the 50 days, you’ll have tackled a wide range of SQL tasks: from simple filtering to window functions, date operations, joins, and performance tuning. You’ll have not just learned SQL but truly internalized it. The goal isn’t to overwhelm you. It’s to give you a structured, achievable path that fits into your daily routine, so learning SQL becomes natural, steady, and rewarding. Even if you don’t finish within 50 days, the 50-day structure gives you a rhythm, a habit, and a sense of accomplishment. The kind of outcome that sticks long after the book is finished. In summary, I wrote the book to address these pain points: 🔶Not knowing where to start: The book gives you a clear roadmap that guides you day by day. 🔶Too much theory, not enough practice: Reading about SQL is not the same as doing SQL. This book includes hands-on challenges that mirror real-world scenarios, so you’re not just memorizing commands; you’re learning to think like a data analyst. 🔶Complex setup: Many learners get stuck setting up databases or configuring environments. You will not worry about complex setups; everything runs in SQLite3 inside Jupyter Notebook, so you start immediately. 🔶Disconnected learning: The challenges mirror real-world analytics problems. Every day here is like a mini project, giving you the experience of exploring, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data ✅What I ask of You I wrote this book for you because I want you to succeed, but books alone don’t create mastery; your effort does. I have provided the tools. All I ask is that you show up every day. Even if it’s just 20–30 minutes, take the challenge seriously. Tackle the problems, experiment with your queries, make mistakes, and fix them. That’s how real learning happens. I also ask that you trust the process. The book is designed to guide you from beginner to confident SQL user, step by step. Some days will feel "easy" and others "hard." Stay the course, and by the end, you’ll see how all the pieces fit together. Finally, I ask that you bring curiosity and persistence. SQL is a language of logic and structure, but it’s also a language of insight. The more you explore, the more patterns you’ll discover, and the more confident you’ll become in solving real-world problems. Don’t be scared to experiment. If you commit to this, I promise you’ll finish 50 days with more than just knowledge. You’ll have the skills, confidence, and habit of thinking like a data analyst. To make starting even easier, as a subscriber to this newsletter, I’m giving you an exclusive 35% launch discount. You can grab your copy today and start the 50-day journey at a reduced price. Grab SQL Essentials for Data Analysis here: I can’t wait to hear about your progress, the insights you uncover, and the confidence you gain along the way. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me or post them in the comments section. Let’s start this journey together: one challenge, one query, one day at a time. Warmly, Benjamin PS. My wife, Aditi Malhotra Chaturvedi, is a Judge Most people who know us, know how madly proud I am of her. But all of that pride comes at a cost .. I also, unfortunately, need reminders to “understand” the meaning of why she does what she does, while bearing all that she has to in that process So kudos to the makers of #MaamlaLegalHai on Netflix, a satirical show that depicts in each of the 8 episodes courtroom highlights beyond the courtroom that’re lifted straight up from real incidents, bound by a central narrative around some super endearing characters in VD Tyagi, Ananya Shroff, Sujata, Munshi Ji, PP Saab, & others. It’s a kickass show that anyone and everyone will love, for its humour and emotion, & yet, it shows so much of the “judiciary”, so much of how one of the most important pillars of our country operates, with incredible detail Sharing two clips from the last episode, which made Aditi’s eyes tad bit wet, and my chest swell each bit of those 56 inches. I realise though that I can do better than just feeling this pride. It isn’t easy in first place. We see each other not more than 5-6 days in a month. We are not able to be with each other on days good and bad, when ‘that magical hug’ would have meant everything. We give up a lot. Rather, she gives up a lot. Driven by some unknown force, a deep-rooted emotion to do “justice” I live in a world where everything is simplified, productised, incentivised, and even then “motivations” aren’t easy to build. And on the other hand, is this world. Somewhere in a remote corner with remote amenities. With no line of sight on pay, incentives, promotions etc. With no team engagement, no offsites, no ESOPs, no awards. Yet, mad work ethic. Yet, passion to play every day, every hour, with your everything. Yet, a commitment to sacrifice your prime to serve others. I keep wondering what she’s made up of .. There is a life she leads inside the courtroom. Which I have had a chance to “witness” a few times. Just about always manages to send chills down my spines. And there is a life that she leads outside it. Half a day / long train ride away. Where she works incredibly hard again to make everyone ‘feel her presence’ in fullness To be able to do “justice” in your own life, with your own people, while putting yourself out there, is an unbelievable feat that goes unnoticed and uncelebrated .. Every Monday morning when she heads back, we all (including Buzo) remain a bit numb for a few hours … and then life catches up. Waiting for the next opportunity to see each other, hold each other, laugh with each other, cry with each other, just “be” with each other. Which also always makes us feel very ‘grateful’ for whatever time we get. My job doesn’t help. But I try. She tries harder. We make it work. Having been in love since forever helps .. Few weeks back, when Aditi’s dad was in the ICU, she rushed back late in the night only to head back right next morning on that 6 am train. I asked her on the platform that morning if it was necessary to go, and she said a hundred people, across age groups, were waiting for “justice”, and even a single day missed means these ‘files’ which translates to “human lives” get pushed by 5-6 months, such is the sheer volume of litigation in our country’s courts Like the series pretty well shows, a great number of times, what happens inside the court affects. Even as I write in the moment, I am rubbing my temples, shaking my head in disbelief, as I recall the absolute horrid state of criminal and civil suits I’ve seen play out. She’s become thicker with time, you don’t have a choice, but a lot of these cases, when I narrate them in my founder/VC/tech brethren, almost a cent percent are shell-shocked and don’t relate to this India But here we are :) As obsessed as I am with what I do for a living, I realise in moments like these that part of my diktat in this life is to help Aditi win, and do better, for the millions that are invisible to the India that I serve ..
