What gets me is how ridiculously small the starting point is. You look at that tiny cup and there’s no way you’d expect it to support something that eventually grows this tall The smart part is that she doesn’t rush to move it into a huge container. She lets the roots establish first, then gives the plant more space as it actually needs it. Over time, that little start turns into a plant nearly 6 feet tall It’s a good reminder that with plants, the beginning can be pretty misleading. After the floodwaters began to disappear, a man noticed a tiny creature swimming in a pool of water left behind. He gently picked it up, and the little bird immediately started crying out. Imagine what you could do with 18 fingers 👀👀 🌱 This whole time, I thought this was a double set of leaves squished in the section where it looked like the plant topped itself. I didn't want to have it squished in there with the forming flowers, so I trimmed it off and saw that it was actually just one leaf, with 18 fingers. WHAT IS AN AI "SOFTWARE FACTORY" AND IS IT HYPE (31 MINUTE BREAKDOWN) I think it's a silly name for a genuinely USEFUL idea! A software factory is 5-6 markdown files that sit next to your code and tell your agents how you like to work, so you can build high quality apps 24/7. It's going viral because AI coding has a trust problem. The model can build the feature, but with no structure around it you end up babysitting the agent, wondering what changed and hoping it didn't break something important. So you build with agents the same way a factory builds physical products! 1. Each feature gets its own station, which in software means its own branch, so multiple agents can work at the same time without stepping on each other. 2. The build station gives the agent rules for how to write the code, because "it works" is very different from "a developer could open this repo next month and understand what happened." 3. The proof station makes the agent show evidence. Screenshots, videos, speed numbers, before-and-after states. It has to prove the thing works instead of saying it works. 4. The review station runs the work through a code review agent, and if it doesn't clear the bar, it goes back through the line. 5. Then you show up at the end to merge. For a 100+ years people have run production this way, and it worked because the structure is good. How to Create Rotation With the Back Leg How you want to actually create rotation with the back leg. For me and higher level guys, I don’t even like to think about rotation. If you feel your hips rotating, it’s probably too slow. This is such a violent, explosive movement that happens in milliseconds. You shouldn’t even be able to feel it. That’s why I think about it as a weight shift. When you’re putting force into the ground, into that X direction, most of your weight is on the back leg. Then once you create that impulse and it propels you forward, all you need to think about is getting to the front leg. That force naturally rotates the hips into foot plant. Instead, it’s just force into the ground and get to the front leg. The pelvis will rotate on its own.
