The neighbor hired a company to remove their tree, they even have a 55ft bucket lift, and the workers seem to know what they are doing. Until you see they tied a small rope to the tree, they assure you it will pull the tree the other way and they’ve don’t it many times before. Now you use a tree in the middle of your living room, and the company is claiming it was an act of god, are they still responsible?

A delivery truck snapped a large branch off a woman’s tree while making a delivery - and she was furious. Who’s responsible here… the driver, the company, or the homeowner for low branches? To avoid a lawsuit should the company just compensate her for the damage? Thoughts? ⬇️ 🇺🇸

This man who is a landscaper said you should never build a tree coffin around a tree. He said it ends up making the tree die by restricting the roots and having too much mulch. I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly. The pavers can restrict root growth and the mulch shouldn't be too thick or torching the base of the tree. I have seen some pretty nice "tree coffins". I never knew they were bad for your trees. Do you have these around your trees? Did you build one a certain way that allows your tree to flourish? What about the people who cemented their pavers together and in the ground?

Water main break in southwest #Detroit floods entire neighborhood, exposing crumbling infrastructure. Pipes go back to the 1930s, and residents face largest water and sewer rate hike in a decade. "My neighbors insurance company told them they don't cover water main breaks."

Multiple American homeowners in this community were growing trees One tree was a black sapote tree a resident grew for 20 years. Another was an avocado tree that was 10 years old Their HOA came and chainsawed the trees down and removed them It looks like because the trees were in a more common location and not directly on the property, the HOA had authority to come and cut them down, and they did This is why nobody likes HOAs

Who's responsible? This woman has a neighbor who is cutting down a tree in his yard. The issue is that the tree is hanging over her yard, and he’s cutting the part that will fall into it. He claims it’s her responsibility to pick it up. He also didn’t warn anybody he was doing it. So who is responsible in this scenario? Someone could have gotten hurt.

🚨#WATCH: Hundreds of people gathered, excited to witness the joy of a tree lighting, only for it to turn out to be the most disappointing Christmas tree lighting ever. 📌#Lexington | #NorthCarolina Watch as hundreds of people gathered with excitement to witness the annual town Lexington, North Carolina, town tree lighting only for it to become the most disappointing Christmas tree lighting ever. A video captured the moment when the crowd at the Lexington Tree Lighting Ceremony began the countdown, expecting a dazzling display, only to see a few strings of lights illuminate around the tree. Confusion and groans spread through the crowd, with some initially thinking it was a joke or a tease before realizing it was the actual lighting. Despite the disappointment, many laughed light-heartedly at the situation. The good news is that the town later rescheduled the tree lighting for later in the week and fixed the issue.

Picked up a great tree for a good cause at the Fallowfield Tree Farm earlier today. Thanks to the Salvation Army team for finding it a home, and making someone’s Christmas brighter this holiday season.

Talking about drones A Swedish company, AirForestry, has developed a giant drone that can quite literally steal a tree. The six-meter machine flies up to a tree, clamps onto its top, and lowers an electric saw, trimming branches along the way before cutting the trunk itself. It then lifts off and carries the entire tree away. The system is designed for forest management: the drone selectively removes excess trees to give others more space to grow, improve forest health, and significantly reduce wildfire risk.

She really said “I don’t give a fck, you going to jail”… over Dollar Tree items. The “When Dollar Tree turns into Drama Tree” series is never beating the allegations. These people will risk a felony over $4.75 in merchandise and still act like they’re the main character. Retail workers are out here fighting for their lives. 💀

💥 The agents at the Portland ICE Facility are trolling the ANTIFA "comrades" by setting up a CHRISTMAS tree on the roof of the building after they were forced to go out and clean up a morbidly decorated looking tree that is on the buildings property. ANTIFA comrades had been adding to the tree for weeks while discussions were going on about who was actually responsible for the exact area, a group of online Patriots worked together to get the information of who exactly to contact to have the area cleaned which was done just days before ~ we had to look at yours now you have to look at ours ✝️ Portland ICE Protests 03.02.26

This woman woke up to the sound of rushing water hitting her house, she runs out side to see water pouring into her garage and flooding her home. The gas company was running gas lines and struck a water main line. She filed a claim with her insurance company only to be denied due to flood coverage. The gas company isn’t taking responsibility for it either. She has thousands of dollars worth of water damage and now mold is growing. Taking this to court could take months of years, what would you do if this happened to you?

They had already cut down this 100-year-old Peepal tree in Ahmedabad. But Bharat Sisodia still refused to let it be the end of its story. In November 2022, Bharat and his team reached the spot after receiving a message about the tree being felled. The tree had been cut to about 6–7 feet, but there was still a chance it could survive. So they took that chance. They dug a six-foot trench around the tree and used water to soften the soil around its roots. Then, with a 50-tonne crane, they carefully lifted and moved the massive tree nearly 2 km away. At its new home, they prepared the pit with soil treatments and nutrients before replanting it. The team then continued caring for it as it recovered. Today, the Peepal is reported to be growing again, with new growth emerging from the tree. A reminder that sometimes, saving a tree can mean giving it a second home instead of giving up on it. Would you support more efforts to relocate mature trees instead of cutting them down? #SaveTrees #TreeTransplantation #TreeConservation #Sustainability [100-year-old Peepal tree transplantation in India by Bharat Sisodia in Ahmedabad]

Today, I decided to visit the owner of a temporary structure that had been erected on a tree along Jogoo Road, with the intention of offering him and his wife a better housing solution while also protecting the life of the tree. Unfortunately, the family was not at home during my visit, as they had gone out to hustle. I will, however, return later to assist them in relocating from this Avoidable form of housing to a more Affordable and dignified one, and also support them in starting a business to sustain their livelihood.
