claude playing TFT -- i ran it for two games and it improved in-context from 0 to 3/30 rounds won. it figured out "3-starring" on its own (buying pairs to upgrade units) which is a core mechanic of this game and hasnt been instructed on how to play besides asking it to "play tft and win" comparing this cua agent to OpenAI Five's result from 2017 which is a different game, model(a big LSTM), had access to Dota's API outputted a discrete action at 4.6hz this cua agent runs at 0.15hz considering it takes anywhere from 2-15 seconds to think(0.07hz without), and is just pixels in, any mouse/keyboard out... and (potentially) wasnt trained on TFT specifically but not sure despite this 2-15s seems to be fine for a turned based game like TFT but in prior videos like league/minecraft is considerably harder for a cua agent to do since by the time you take a screenshot the game state may have changed and you've wasted 7 seconds thinking, and another 7 seconds thinking about the new game state, and catastrophically failing like that. the intention here is not to play TFT or league with a bot. please dont use it as such

There were plans for Quake Champions to be transitioned into the hands of the community with a LAN client. Sync Error the sole developer on the team was laid off before this was a possibility. There was potential to free the game from the games as a service model that killed it, with modding and custom lobbies. Quake Champions has been left in limbo, it has no one updating the game or anticheat. I was told there wouldn't even be a LAN server for QuakeCon like there is every year. (There will be official tournaments there!) I know it failed on its introduction, it went through a long hard development process but it eventually became great, and never was given a second chance. This was my first Quake game and it will always be special to me. Please save Quake Champions. This is heart breaking Stop Killing Games Official

Choose a model (any model) and build your application with it. Do not spend time swapping models early on. Do not try to optimize before you have a working system. This is one of the first recommendations I make to every new team I consult with. If you're in that world and building AI applications, Microsoft Foundry is where everything lives: • Models (largest selection in the market) • Agentic SDK (Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) • Tools • Evaluations • Monitoring They are fully integrated with GitHub and Visual Studio Code. My reaction at the Major League Soccer suspension of Lionel Messi (and Jordi Alba) for not participating in the MLS All-Star Game tonight The league's policy for opting to not participate in the All-Star Game is a one game suspension. Messi skipping the All-Star Game to manage his fitness shouldn't lead to suspension — it punishes a player trying to perform at his best for the league. This damages MLS’s credibility as a serious league and discourages other stars considering a move — the opposite of what the “Messi effect” started. Grok 3 was just released. You won't believe it, I've already created a game. (I got early access THIS MORNING). This game was 100% created by GROK, I just told it what I wanted, and put the code in the right place. I just keep asking for adjustments, and it keeps spitting the game out in a single file that I can put on my desktop and run. The game is changed forever. I've been developing a lot with AI's from every other major AI builder lately, trying to decide what I like best, and grok is a PLAYER. I don't have official benchmarks, and I don't have API setup yet so it's not my normal workflow, but it felt every bit as capable as Sonet, 4o, or anything else. In the next day or so I'll get it set up as part of my workflow in NVIM and put it to real work. This is incredible. We live in the future. Everyone is a developer now.

I got to try Grok 4.5 in early access in Cursor for the past few days and I absolutely enjoyed it. It feels like Opus 4.8 at 2x the speed at a much cheaper price point. I tasked it to brainstorm > plan > implement a big feature for my game (this act 1 boss fight) and it did not disappoint. - It is much smarter than Composer 2.5, during planning mode, it is able to think through my request more robustly, ensuring that edge cases are covered and makes sure to ask the right questions to confirm with me first. - It is much better at brainstorming ideas/suggestions, similar to Opus 4.8, though I think Fable still edges out a little when it comes to brainstorming ideas and suggestions - It is FAST. probably the fastest of all frontier models (Opus 4.8, GPT 5.5 etc), which makes it a joy to build with, because I can stay in the flow - It has much improved visual/animation capabilities than Composer 2.5, it can code up animations (i wanted an explosion animation with particle effects) with much, much better visuals, animation movement and timing. This is a big leap and I was so happy to see this improvement. - The best part for me is that I can just use the same model from planning down to execution without switching to a lower cost model because the price point is cheaper than other frontier models. I'll be testing this model with more challenging tasks in the next few days but I think this is going to be my main driver for vibe coding for a while. Also, its nice to see Grok back in the race. 🙌

I never do this ever but I feel that as a streamer for the game I love as well as the peeps who play it with me that this needs to be addressed. We are going to talk about the toxic behaviour and mentality of people in Unite. This individual is well known in my region to be extremely unfair spamming thanks... going afk... and surrendering constantly in their matches when things aren't going their way. For the first time for me, they've opened up voice comms and proceeded to trash talk myself and my friend. At first it was laughable because our region knows what type of person this player is. When the match ended, they continually talked negatively in such way that was in poor taste and it was then and there that I had to bring this to light. When we checked the aftermath... he made little to no contribution as a team player but proceeded to blame us. You just simply cannot be talking negatively like this without taking "accountability" for your own actions. I get that some games are frustrating and you can get upset but I strive with 100% everytime I play this game to make the community I play with a positive/learning and enjoyable experience. I never do this ever but I feel that as a streamer for the game I love as well as the peeps who play it with me that this needs to be addressed. We are going to talk about the toxic behaviour and mentality of people in Unite. This individual is well known in my region to be extremely unfair spamming thanks... going afk... and surrendering constantly in their matches when things aren't going their way. For the first time for me, they've opened up voice comms and proceeded to trash talk myself and my friend. At first it was laughable because our region knows what type of person this player is. When the match ended, they continually talked negatively in such way that was in poor taste and it was then and there that I had to bring this to light. When we checked the aftermath... he made little to no contribution as a team player but proceeded to blame us. You just simply cannot be talking negatively like this without taking "accountability" for your own actions. I get that some games are frustrating and you can get upset but I strive with 100% everytime I play this game to make the community I play with a positive/learning and enjoyable experience. First impressions on Muse Glimmer! It's incredibly fast for a dense model, currently running an average of 208tps with a max of 274tps on a single 5090 with their DFLASH config. Comparatively, though, both using Open Code, Qwopus Coder (with thinking off) produced a much better shark survival game than the one I got from Glimmer. Meta's new dense model is currently just lacking some HTML canvas taste, but this is something that can be added via SFT as long as the model is stable and capable from a back-end programming perspective. And it seems to be, without a doubt. The big kicker here is that I ran this at extra high thinking, and it did not take long at all to run. Our current local leader, Qwen 27B 3.6, has a tendency to overthink, but with glimmer, that is not the case. Right now, my recommendation for general local programming (Apps, Games, Websites, Visual Tools) in this class is still Qwopus Coder with thinking disabled, or Qwopus Fusion with thinking enabled. Of course Shark Survival is a very basic domain-specific test, but I find that the result scales very well across many domains. If we're going to be shipping apps generated entirely locally, visual taste is somewhat of a bare minimum requirement, solely in my opinion, and Qwen's models in this class offer significantly more at the moment. That's actually why I initially started getting into finetuning with Qwen 3.5, they were the first base that was able to do really good front-end with some opus-trace fine-tuning. Qwen 3.6 has taste even in the base model, and we know Qwen 3.8 is going to blow us all away! Regardless, this looks like a very tempting new base model. As a first offering from Meta in this class for a long time, I am incredibly impressed and elated to have it. We now finally have a proper Single GPU frontier race, instead of us just begging Qwen for more releases. Single GPU open frontier model race is a VERY good thing. Please keep pushing Meta

One criticism I always see towards games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto VI recently is the topic of small details. "Why does a game need so many details, it doesn't make the experience any better and takes longer to develop" While I do agree with the fact that Rockstar Games development schedules in between each release keep getting longer, the fact is that when you aim for such a high level of realism in a video-game, its not about graphics anymore, its about immersion. I'm sure that if you played RDR2, you know that your horse sweating or its balls shrinking in the cold don't add much to the gameplay itself, but it makes the game feel like its real. This is precisely what sets apart Rockstar Games from other game studios, the level of immersion you get in those games is unbeaten. RDR2, a game designed for the PS4 console has a level of fluidity and immersion that I have yet to see in a video-game from any other game studio, each game mechanic seems to work flawlessly that it feels like a living and breathing open world game. Hell, sometimes you feel bad for shooting an NPC which never happened to me in a video-game before. When you're playing it, hours can go by and you don't even. In other open-world games, sometimes you can notice limitations, for example the same NPCs appearing in one object or the same scripted conversations. RDR2 manages to make that gap of a video-game and reality feel thinner, not get rid of it entirely of course. Making such a massive game filled with tons of details means that it can be can be played for multiple years after its release and not feel outdated. Its not all about details of course, when a game takes so long to develop, the stakes get higher each time and Rockstar Games has to make sure that they deliver on the story that is being told too, hence the reason why their games have always been historically good in terms of writing. Now to address the elephant int he room, the main issue is that as the complexity increases for each new release and optimizing all of these systems to work in tandem, the development time increases and we get longer periods of waiting. Is all of this worth it? In my opinion, yes. Its Rockstar Games after all, they have the budget necessary and the talent to achieve this kind of feat. Not only does it raise the bar for what is possible to do in a video-game, but it also is highly rewarding when you play the game for the first time and its unlike anything you've seen these past couple of years. When I finished playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time, every new game that came out felt outdated for me. Just as technology keeps going forward, the same applies here with open world games too. What are your thoughts on this topic?

People are calling it "Gamerot" so that is now the official name of the app. lets talk about the updates That i've made the last 2 days: Since tiktok is a visual platform I needed to somehow add movement to the feed that way its not just static cover images ( boring ): → we need to slap users in the face with dopamine → get them interested in playing the games ( for retention ) So in 3 prompts I literally told to build an AI for each game that plays against itself. That way as you scroll users can see the games playing themselves I think this feature really ties the whole TikTok feel together. I also added the following new games → Pacman → SlitherIO →AgarIO →PaperIO →HoleIO →Top down shooter →Connect 4 →Worlds Hardest Game →2048 →Crossy Road →Chess now I just need to ask Rork to make me 100 more games And Wait for it to cook while I gamerot on on my own app Drop more game suggestions!

This is the discrimination we face daily as women athletes in competitive games. I have been playing CS since 2005. Some ask me: “But you have played for so long, you must have a thick skin to all this toxicity by now?” And normally I answer: “Yes, I do”. But I don’t want to have a thick skin to play a game I love, where I want to develop as a professional and break new barriers. I don’t want to show strength and ignore, or fight back every time I am being harassed for my gender. I don’t want to feel like I don’t belong or that I am worse “by default”. And I WILL talk about this constantly until it’s changed for the better. This video is just another of many examples. Two premades who started the game with “why do I have 2 women on my team” and were sexist to Zana 🦦 and me the whole game. Yet we tried to close our eyes to it and just did everything to win the game. When the game was won, we got a message “ez carry”. When things go wrong, stop blaming others, but focus on yourself and your own mistakes instead. And let us play!

🚨 Alright, listen to me for a second. 🚨 The NEW version of Wayfinder, is the version of the game we needed from the start. It's pretty much unrecognizable from the model we saw months ago. ✅ Better performance, cleaner combat, better loot, better UI/UX, better sound design, you name it. 😖 Here's my problem: It could be too late. This reality really stings, because this is the game I feel the team wanted to show us from the very beginning. I truly hope their marketing team is able to pull it out the bag here and get big streamers playing it, and platforms promoting it with ads. 😈 If you're a Borderlands fan, this is the update you've been waiting for. Loot drops with rarities, levels, randomized stats, and there is TONS of transmog variety including player housing, mounts, weapon dyes, emotes, sprays & more. 🤖 If you're a Destiny fan, the worlds feel more open, with included patrols, and mini lost sector like basements with loot hidden amongst enemies/puzzles. 👹 New difficulty levels feel fun and challenging meaning the game is accessible to quite literally any skill level. There's now ARMOR SETS too, providing even more customization for your character as you level through the reworked skill trees, which now work like those seen in games such as POE/Diablo. 💸 And the best part? Zero MTX. Everything which was previously paid, is now a free addition and earned in game. I'm sure I'll get called a mega shill 🤓 for this post, but that comes with the FAME 😎 Seriously, check this game out when it launches. The team at Wayfinder have done a great job all around with this one.

TeamSESH is dq'd from Challenger Series after qualifying for the event Q4 Game 1 enemy team protests for Kixa's moss based on the attached video as "proof of cheating". One of the guys on the other team admitted to us in dms that the protest was just cuz they were mad they lost. Head admin pauses our next game and makes us open a ticket; he requests moss from each of us. None of us had it for this first game because we agreed with the other team to not run it prior to the game (aforementioned player who dm'd Kixa was his friend). He then requests moss from all of us from our entire qual. I did not run moss on every game, given some games were against ppl I have played a thousand times and did not feel the need. Regardless this disqualification was from me not running moss for this qualifier. The admins did not care that we had provided dozens of previous moss files from our recent win in XGS and OCS. I understand that they felt they must make this ruling in order to stay in line with their rule book. I still feel that the way in which this was conducted was not within their own rule book given scrupulous evidence and requiring us all to provide moss for the report of one player. Regardless, I was in the wrong for not running it and have to accept that I costed my teams ability to show how hard we worked for this. Everyone with half a brain knows that we do not cheat. Major apologies to everyone that was waiting to see what we could do. We appreciate your support and we will not let a mistake define who we are.
