I'm not sure I can put myself through another one of these debates! I am raging! I hate Sunak now more than I ever have! 🤬

Is that your key take away from an hours debate ? A witty one liner at the end ? Cards on the table, truthfully what did you think of the other 59 minutes ? I lost count of how many times Starmer said “we WILL have a plan” when surely he should be saying “we HAVE a plan”, no ?

The idea of another 5 yrs of Tory causes me real then my granddaughters will be 16 & 13 and the worry of what sort of country they’ll have let us disintegrate into & that they’ll inherit & have to find a place in is very very real.

Great closing statement that.. I think people want to see more gusto, more energy, a killer instinct & heated delivery but that’s not Starmer - he’s calculated, cold almost due to his professional past. ‘the arsonists handed back the matches …’ 🔥What a line!! Ooosh!!

Agree. This was good, but I was very disappointed that he didn't stand up better to Sunak, and call out his lies. Far too restrained ad polite imo.

Unfortunately he answered no questions, and no one knows what the hell they will do if they win. “Turn the page”. What the f does that mean?

There'd be rioting in the streets if the tories were announced as the winners on the 5th of July .....
