Ryan Wynder breaks down the cognitive dissonance between engaging with adult entertainment and shaming those who do it as a career. There is nothing worse than a person who is drowning in shame and refuses to help themselves. Instead they use projection as protection, bullying people on the internet and maybe even in person. They pass it off as a joke, a fact or a position of personal morality. These people cause real damage and it’s not right. The best way we can disempower anyone who does this is to arm ourselves with the knowledge they refuse to acknowledge. If they can’t help themselves, then we (anyone who is being targeted IRL or online) can protect ourselves by recognizing what’s going on so it loses its power and doesn’t get to us. Shapiro: My kid's entire frame of reference about politics over the last decade has been Donald Trump, has been cruelty, has been personal attacks, has been attacks on social media, attacks in speeches, attacks in person. I think they have seen negative behavior reinforced by the most powerful person in our country. Making fun of people with disabilities is just one example. And for them, they grew up at a time where the president of the United States, that's all he does, put down people with disabilities, attack them. It's going to take us some real time in this country to help the generation of my kids and those around that generation to overcome the negativity that they really experienced for this last decade. And if Donald Trump has his way, this type of politics will continue with JD Vance or Marco Rubio. And so I don't think we're sort of out of the woods yet on this. And I think it has certainly had a negative impact on my kid's generation, your kid's generation, and many others.

In the hours after an assassination attempt on former President Trump, I sat down and recorded to camera some of what was on my heart. This is a small clip of that. I believe: What we need now are people who are willing to do the difficult and daunting work of bridging gaps and healing wounds; people in our communities who can rally others together, across lines of division, for the greater good; people who reject cynicism and winner-take-all politics, and instead embrace the more difficult work this generation now faces: to unite our country in common cause.

I’m incredibly proud to say that my eldest daughter Jessica joined me on my podcast this week in a special episode on the importance of talking about hormones ahead of #WorldMenopauseDay tomorrow. She talks about how she has helped many people by opening up their conversations about the menopause and hormones. She also talks openly about how she uses hormones to improve both her PMS and her migraines. After being raised a Christian and being taught that all Muslims will go to hell if they do not believe as we do, I have started to dig deeper and find out for myself. What do Muslims truly believe? What does the Quran actually teach? What’s the history? Principles? Practices? This moment was a gift. I can no longer believe that hell is awaiting so many incredible and loving people. Media loves to portray extremes of every religion but when you sit down, human to human and ask the real raw questions, that’s where the truth lies.
