One of the reasons I asked to stay in this brief was my time in the Department and seeing how badly we were making decisions about climate and energy. There’s simply no scrutiny or proper analysis of what these targets are doing to jobs, the cost of living or to the competitiveness of our industry. The Minister bringing it forward refused to take a single intervention. She did not answer a single question. I’m sorry, but that is simply not good enough. MP after MP cited bogus figures or praised the Climate Change Committee’s analysis without being even slightly troubled that their cost of offshore wind was wrong by a factor of three. Get the cost of energy wrong and all your other assumptions about the cost of living and the economy will be wrong too. I am proud Kemi Badenoch and I have changed our party’s position. We are the only party who have said we should measure the offshoring of emissions. We are the only party who have a plan to make electricity cheaper without costing the taxpayer a penny. We are the only party with a fully costed plan to axe the Carbon Tax which is replacing clean British industry with dirtier foreign imports. This debate shows why Parliament is not working. Poor analysis let off the hook by poor scrutiny. So-called impact assessments which are written to be as impenetrable as possible, and which MPs show no interest in reading or questioning. We need fewer virtue signalling MPs and many more who can read modelling assumptions.

Then after he lays out a series of false, debunked, and misleading claims, they follow it up with a "how could anyone disagree with the obvious truths you are spouting?"

The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change ( IPCC) was not created by a group of scientists in the late-1980s with the intention of studying both natural and man-made impacts on the global climate system. That did not happen. Period. Why would the IPCC be needed on the scientific front when there were already government agencies like the BoM, Met Office, NASA, NCAR and NOAA working on this? The IPCC was created by bureaucrats with a vested financial and political interest to use the scientific community to build a case to regulate oil companies and control energy, in hopes they could convince the public that consumption of coal, oil and natural gas were causing harmful anthropogenic climate change. Climate change became the Goldilocks issue to move that agenda along, as it would otherwise have little support. Did you know our soldiers have to return all their gear when they leave the military? For some reason I always thought they got to keep most if not all of it. Why do we do that when they earned the right to keep it? If everyone gets new when they enlisted, makes you wonder where all the used stuff goes.🤔

Pastor Chris once said, “I TOLD YOU”‼️ To those saying pastors don’t speak up when things go wrong in this country, remember: when you were warned not to vote for the wrong candidate or of the danger ⛔️ ahead, did you listen? So why should they say anything now when you don’t regard God’s prophets? If you’re convinced that the candidate you voted for was the right choice, then keep trusting God for a change. But if you know you made a mistake, pray for the nation. It’s not over yet; change is still very possible.
