You can also pull down from anywhere in the conversation to start a new chat. 3/ When ChatGPT creates a file for you – a note, a document, a presentation or a spreadsheet – it's now much easier to share it. You can give other email addresses view or edit rights, and they'll see those files in their ChatGPT Library. 4/ We've improved 'location' use in answers (with user permission). A few weeks ago we improved the use of time in answers. Now, "what events are happening in my neighborhood" should be a lot better. 5/ Voice got smarter - When you select the 'higher intelligence' options in Voice, you can now use GPT-6 Astra, our latest frontier model. Hey a great drop as always. I want to be able to set different default reasoning levels for different Projects in Chat. Do you think you could add that at some point? That way I don't have to have everything on Extra High and for some lighter Projects I can have Medium.

We’re adding support for WebMCP in the ChatGPT desktop app’s built-in browser and ChatGPT Sites. When you visit a compatible website, ChatGPT or Codex can automatically use it to complete your task. Update to the latest version of the ChatGPT desktop app, then just ask Codex to create a WebMCP-enabled app and deploy it to Sites.

Start going much deeper and much more nuanced in your “prompts” with your 🤖 apps - too many still use ChatGPT like it’s Google search.. when it has much more power than that and can give you much more in depth answers and more importantly can be a working partner versus a quick tool .. hope this inspires more to use their voice - I think voice will be the main interface with ai 🤖 in the next decade & I hope this inspires someone to ask much more detailed questions and go much deeper with their details and nuances! What’s the longest prompt you’ve made so far ? What are u using these apps for so far?

Imagine an AI application that can type anywhere you can and use the full context of what's on your screen. This is the application we all deserve (at least if you have macOS.) Check out Omnipilot. It's an app that works with every other macOS application and uses Claude Sonet 3.5 in the background—it also supports Gemini and GPT-4o. Here is the idea: You can use the tool to ask questions about anything on your screen. Or you can use it to autocomplete the text you are typing. You don't need to copy and paste anymore or waste your time providing context to a model. It sees what you see. It works right where you are. That's pretty cool. Here are a couple of cool examples: • Use it to reply to an email • Use it in the terminal to autocomplete a command • Use it to finish a document • Use to send a message on Slack AI at the system level is bonkers. Best of all, it's just as fast for multiple characters as for a single character. And, you can batch process all your shots at the same time. We added a device tool bar to the Codex in-app browser, so it's easier to build and test responsive apps! Now, you can have Codex test your app in different dimensions, so it can fix bugs & improve UI for every device. Just click the 3 dots on the right of the URL bar to use it! As part of this change, we also: - improved the speed of browser use (~30% in my vibe testing) - tightened the animation of the cursor - added a way to hide the composer in full screen mode - fixed a few bugs for browser use in Windows Oliver Tepman and John Nastos cooked on this one! Try it out and let us know what you think!
