NOAA’s National Weather Service Winter Outlook has been released. This outlook shows the likely temperature and precipitation the U.S. could experience during meteorological winter (December 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026) and drought conditions through January 31, 2026. Here are the highlights: 🌎La Niña conditions are expected to develop later this fall and will be a factor in the winter outlook. 🌡️A milder-than-average winter is favored across the southern tier of the country and along the Eastern Seaboard. 💧Wetter-than-average conditions for the Ohio Valley and southern Great Lakes region, along with most of Alaska, are also favored. Drier-than-average conditions are forecast in the desert Southwest, along the Gulf Coast, and from Florida to the Carolinas. 🌤️Drought conditions are expected to persist and worsen from southern Texas to California. NOAA’s seasonal outlooks provide the likelihood that average temperature and total precipitation for the three-month period will be above-, near- or below-average and how drought conditions are anticipated to change in the months ahead. I remember how fired up I was listening to Beamer talk before the 2024 season, and how excited I was finishing 9-4. I thought, “Finally!” But a 4–8 season isn’t just “average,” it’s far below the standard. And nobody in that building, or in this fanbase, is wired to accept average… let alone less than. We deserve better. We all want better. Now it’s time to hit the portal hard and bring in real difference-makers. Not filler, but greatness. The standard has been raised next season, period. LFG!!

🇷🇺 Russia is facing a massive bottleneck in its oil sector as loaded crude effectively piles up at sea because the country cannot find buyers for a surging surplus of unprocessed oil. According to a Bloomberg report citing EA Analytics data, this crisis is directly linked to Ukraine's intensified drone campaign, which has successfully struck at least 24 of Russia's 34 major oil refineries over the past 100 days. Consequently, domestic oil refining output has plummeted to an average of 3.91 million barrels per day this July, marking its lowest level in over 21 years since March 2005 and falling more than 1.4 million barrels below last year's average. Because Russia lacks large-scale storage facilities and cannot process the crude domestically, it has been forced to aggressively divert the raw oil into seaborne exports simply to keep its oil fields from shutting down. Tyler Rogers is the only MLB pitcher with an average release height under two feet. The focus of my off-season training has been lowering my own release point from roughly three feet to Rogers-range, but twelve years using the same slot has grooved an extremely deep attractor well. Early in the off-season, @Crider_HP programmed variable slot and implement work to destabilize my old angle and open up different solutions within my movement landscape. More recently, I’ve built familiarity with my desired slot by constraining start positions at/below the goal, adding rhythm to access the new angle dynamically, and then using variability/representative context to stabilize the pattern. My recent bullpen average? 1.8 feet. Good training, as they say.

Take a look for yourself. This is now being used as their drug operation. Check out the look out who almost caught me going in the gate. And the two that’s hustling out the car, and people pulling up selling merchandise And they’re able to do this with no impunity.

Tropical Storm Bavi has been named to the west of the Marshall Islands, and the early model runs for her potential future intensity are some of the most extreme you will ever see. The ECMWF, which is historically one of the less aggressive models, showed Bavi hitting ~871 mbar earlier today. Now, the latest run is barely budging from this ultraviolent estimate, still dropping Bavi down to ~882 mbar between the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan. This in no way means we’re super likely to actually see that happen, as it would take an absolutely perfect sequence of meteorological events to occur, but it at least shows how explosive the conditions in the Philippine Sea are. For context, the most intense tropical cyclone ever recorded on Earth peaked at 870 mbar.

There's a lot of talk surrounding Dodgers prospects, their valuation, and how they turn out. The reality is: They do just make players better. Ching-Hsien Ko is the perfect example. Physical specimen at 6'3", 215 pounds. Lefty, above average raw power, walks a ton, but never got to much in-game power with a GB% near 50%. He never hit more than 4 HR up until 2026. He's 19 now, and in his second Single-A stint, he has 16 HR. His GB% is down by nearly 10% Swing is tweaked. Results follow. Value goes up. Maybe the GB-issue is fixed forever, maybe not. Either way, his value it's ever been, and they did it by just doing what organizations should do: Develop their weaknesses to let the strengths play. It might not translate levels. It could. But if he puts up these numbers at a higher level, his value for the next trade deadline will only rise. All by literal player development.

NEW: FBI says they have "strong evidence" that the email shared on Shawn Ryan's show *was* sent by Livelsberger before the explosion. The statement was made just 1 hour after Ryan released the episode. In the email, the individual believed to be Livelsberger said the NJ drones were operated by a "gravitic propulsion system." The email suggested that the drones could have been operated by China. China has been launching them from the Atlantic from submarines for years, but this activity recently has picked up." "As of now, it is just a show of force and they are using it similar to how they used the balloon for sigint and isr, which are also part of the integrated coms system. There are dozens of those balloons in the air at any given time." Investigators have not yet said what Livelsberger's state of mind was at the time of the incident.
