5 weeks ago, this fishing game didn’t exist. Now it has a full 3D world, dynamic water, day/night cycles, fishing mechanics, rarity systems, custom UI and even its own in-game editors. Almost everything is being built with AI. Claude handles most of the game, Claude + Blender MCP handles 3D work, and ChatGPT helps with image generation. The interesting part is that the workflow is changing too. Instead of asking AI 20 times to move a lighthouse or UI element into the right position, he had Claude build custom editors so he can tweak and save everything manually. Week 5 of seeing how far one person can push AI game development.

I mean just look at these results 🤯 It can handle complex VFX tasks like replacing environments, doing set extensions, swapping characters, removing items, adding particle effects with realistic lighting interaction. The coolest bit to me is how they trained this model, because paired before/after vfx editing datasets are super scarce. TL;DR They taught it video editing through a clever three-stage process: 1. Started with image editing data, treating it like single-frame video edits. 2. Created synthetic video editing tasks by animating still image edits and using AI models (like SAM and DINO) for object segmentation. 3. The model generated edited videos, and then learned to reconstruct the originals from the edited version Meta calls this "video editing via backtranslation" and the results speak for themselves.

I solved building decks with AI agents — by giving them a CLI tool like Powerpoint or Google Slides. AI could already make a beautiful deck if you asked it to using Ant's pptx skill. The problem was working with it. If it made one alignment mistake, fixing it on one slide would break something on another, and it became a game of whack-a-mole. One time I spent two days playing AI roulette, hoping the next prompt would finally fix the thing, and ended up building the whole deck by hand because I was on a deadline. So I built Hands-on Deck. And the reason it works is that this isn't just a skill — this is PowerPoint. The actual application: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, whatever you use. This is that, but for an agent, presented as a CLI. Every gesture you make in a deck app maps to a command. Click a box and type, drag a shape from here to there, look at a slide – agent can do it all in a command. And that changes how the agent behaves. With this CLI it works and thinks like a designer — it looks, makes an edit, looks again, makes another surgical edit. Compare that to Anthropic's pptx skill, built on the idea that Claude is a great programmer: it literally writes code to manipulate the deck, hand-editing XML and hoping it doesn't break anything else in the middle. I solved building decks with AI agents — by giving them a CLI tool like Powerpoint or Google Slides. AI could already make a beautiful deck if you asked it to using Ant's pptx skill. The problem was working with it. If it made one alignment mistake, fixing it on one slide would break something on another, and it became a game of whack-a-mole. One time I spent two days playing AI roulette, hoping the next prompt would finally fix the thing, and ended up building the whole deck by hand because I was on a deadline. So I built Hands-on Deck. And the reason it works is that this isn't just a skill — this is PowerPoint. The actual application: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, whatever you use. This is that, but for an agent, presented as a CLI. Every gesture you make in a deck app maps to a command. Click a box and type, drag a shape from here to there, look at a slide – agent can do it all in a command. And that changes how the agent behaves. With this CLI it works and thinks like a designer — it looks, makes an edit, looks again, makes another surgical edit. Motion graphics used to take me an hour per scene (or more) Now I'm creating them in 3-5 minutes — without After Effects, without Premiere, without writing a single line of code. I'm a former LA filmmaker (still PGA). My entire video stack is now 3 tools: Claude Code + HyperFrames (from HeyGen) + Descript Here's how the workflow runs: 1.
