Attack on Iranian Protesters in Vienna Following Peaceful Demonstration On the evening of 4 March 2026, around 21:30–22:00, Iranian activists held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Imam Ali Center to express their political views and to protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The demonstration was officially registered and authorized and took place in the presence of the Austrian police. Throughout the event, participants remained peaceful and exercised their democratic right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. However, during the demonstration we were repeatedly threatened by individuals affiliated with the Islamic Republic, who were standing across the street. Some of them made explicit threatening gestures, including hand signs imitating the act of beheading. Around 21:30, after most participants had already left and while a small group of organizers and logistics volunteers were packing the remaining equipment, the police temporarily left the immediate area. At that moment, a group of individuals suddenly emerged from inside the Imam Ali Center, where they had apparently remained hidden. They launched a violent attack against the remaining members of our team. During the attack: Hot water was thrown at protesters. Several attackers were seen concealing knives or sharp objects under their jackets. Members of our organizing and logistics team were physically assaulted. As a result of the attack, approximately eight to nine people were injured, several of them seriously enough to require hospital treatment. Some participants, including women, suffered severe shock and trauma. Fortunately, the police returned quickly after being called and were able to prevent the situation from escalating further. Video evidence exists showing the threatening gestures made during the demonstration as well as the first moments of the attack. The initial seconds of the assault were recorded before the situation rapidly escalated. As organizers and eyewitnesses, we consider this incident a serious act of politically motivated violence against peaceful protesters exercising their democratic rights in Austria. We call on the Austrian authorities to fully investigate this attack and ensure the safety of Iranian activists who peacefully advocate for freedom and human rights. Freedom of expression and peaceful assembly must be protected. Violent intimidation by regime-affiliated groups cannot be tolerated in a democratic society. The legitimacy of the case against the Islamic republic is first and foremost rooted in the demands of the Iranian people inside Iran, who have repeatedly risen up, most recently in the millions, to demand an end to this regime. In this movement, there has been only one name they have called for, and only one transitional leadership the Iranian people have fought for: Reza Pahlavi. Now that doesn’t mean every Iranian is a monarchist, and it doesn’t mean “restoring monarchy” either. If fact, Pahlavi himself has called for a transition to democracy and has only ever called for a transition leadership. Many people are calling for Pahlavi today who did not support the Shah in the past. The world is still talking over them. Instead of listening to the Iranian people, the international media and multiple governments around the world have consistently proposed plan after plan, actively ignoring the will of the Iranian people. They have minimized and in some cases even mocked the Crown Prince, when he and he alone has the ear of the people on the ground. There have been well funded and coordinated efforts against the Crown Prince attempting to cast doubt on his popularity with the Iranian public and to spread rumors that anyone who supports him as a traditional leader is “restoring monarchy”. He has been accused of all sorts of absurdities from being an “Israeli agent” to being asked to answer for political decisions of his father that have nothing to do with him and still he has maintained the respect and support of the Iranian people. This is a cataclysmic mistake on the part of the West. Iran is not Afghanistan or Venezuela. You will never have a successful foreign imposed leader like the terrorist Ghalibaf when the people are calling for something else entirely. How many times must the West repeat the same mistakes over and over against expecting different results?

The power of "El Chapo Isidro" challenges the State with a deadly toll, forcing the government to retreat. A violent confrontation between federal forces and members of the criminal group led by Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, alias "El Chapo Isidro," shook the community of La Brecha, in the municipality of Guasave, this Monday. The Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, confirmed via social media that the operation resulted in an official death toll that reflects the magnitude of the challenge facing the State. According to the published report, federal authorities reported: 13 attackers killed during the confrontation 4 people arrested 9 people freed from captivity 7 vehicles seized, several with improvised armor Long guns, tactical gear, and weapons for the exclusive use of the Army were seized and turned over to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) The confrontation began when agents of the Security Cabinet were attacked by armed men hiding under a bridge, according to the official report. The immediate response of law enforcement led to fighting in various parts of the rural area, forcing the attackers to retreat in several directions. The use of sophisticated weaponry, armored vehicles, and tactical deployment by the criminal group demonstrate an organized response capacity that directly challenges state control structures. This incident not only reaffirms the presence of organized crime in Sinaloa, but also raises questions about the effectiveness of the government's security strategy in rural border areas affected by drug trafficking. Officially, it is known that the operation began in Navolato with a chase that ended in Guasave, leading to the location of "El Chapo Isidro." Upon noticing the authorities, he engaged in a shootout as he attempted to escape. The drug lord was successful, but members of his organization were not so fortunate. As of this writing, no further official reports have been released regarding casualties among members of the security forces, nor the whereabouts of El Chapo Isidro. Authorities are maintaining a search and surveillance operation in the area to consolidate results and clarify any additional human impacts. . . . . . .
