🌀 Typhoon Dolphin is crossing Okinawa, Japan The center of Typhoon Dolphin is crossing Okinawa, with winds near the center around 144 km/h and gusts of about 195 km/h (JMA). Okinawa and the Amami Islands are currently the most affected areas, with strong winds, heavy rain and high waves. Miyako and Yaeyama are farther from the center, with the worst conditions expected on Saturday. Dolphin is expected to strengthen again over the East China Sea, with winds around 170 km/h and gusts up to 205 km/h, while its forward movement is expected to slow down.
