We launched the rocket in perfect position within the inflow notch of this rain-wrapped wedge tornado near Lawrence, Kansas, and tracked the parachute probe as it was carried through the #tornado. ChasinSpin is the scientist behind the sensors and live streaming technology that achieved success with this first launch. We recovered the sensor the next day using Facebook, with Matt DuBois and Jeremy Belk finding the probe in the front yard of a church in Leavenworth, over 30 miles away from the launch site.
