PDS #DOMINATOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT UPDATE We have an active pattern for severe weather ahead this end if May and June, with many more #tornado intercepts for science expected. @jakescustomdiesel and Will Clay are racing to replace the engine of the Dominator 3 in time for these severe weather and tornado episodes. Here is the new motor which may be installed as early as this weekend. Thank you to S&S Diesel Motorsport for their continued support. The Dominator 3 will be back in tornado intercept mode by Junesanity 2026. Never stop chasing

This tornado then roped out just north of the farmhouse it destroyed. We then saw the backside of the EF5 tornado producer in Enderlin, North Dakota. Never stop chasing

We are finalizing the rebuild of the Dominator 3 and Will Clay has put the science mission on his back! We will be launching dozens of sensors into the tornadoes this year for real-time tornado intensity. LocalMan Weather and I have been grinding out the rest of the Team Dominator speaking tour, with our next event tomorrow night in Effingham, Illinois. On March 1 we will return to the heart of Tornado Alley to test sensors and gear up for the active pattern ahead. 2026 will be a BIG year for #tornado science! Never stop chasing

Watch this historic rocket launch into a monster EF4 #tornado by the Team Dominator science team! This marked the first ever recording of wind and thermodynamics in 3D inside of a #tornado. We launched the rocket in perfect position within the inflow notch of this rain-wrapped wedge tornado near Lawrence, Kansas, and tracked the parachute probe as it was carried through the #tornado. ChasinSpin is the scientist behind the sensors and live streaming technology that achieved success with this first launch. We recovered the sensor the next day using Facebook, with Matt DuBois and Jeremy Belk finding the probe in the front yard of a church in Leavenworth, over 30 miles away from the launch site. CurtisBrooks the rocket man broke his ankle with a Dominator 3 door slam the day before this launch, after designing the rockets and the rocket launcher. This was a huge milestone for Team Dominator self-funded #tornado science

I thought we were airborne for a split second but the Dom3 did its job! Will Clay whipped up the air cannon with a direct hit on the first launch.
