I hope everyone takes the time to listen to Justice Marvic Leonen’s powerful final round of interpellation in the ongoing GAA oral arguments at the Supreme Court. I had goosebumps and almost teared up because his statements really struck a chord. After feeling so hopeless watching the excesses of this admin and the brazen acts of our politicians, seeing our people endure so much hardship while our leaders live completely detached from their struggles, this felt like Justice Leonen’s love letter to us, the ordinary Filipinos.🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 #ProtectJusticeMarvicLeonen

How dare the Dutertes and their supporters to even utter the term "Humanitarian reasons” Well, I do not expect that Sara Duterte knows that seeking for sympathy will not work in the case of her father and since they are living in their alternate universe — I also do not expect them to realize the irony of asking for his interim release for humanitarian reasons. I was watching the primetime news just now, the supporters of the Dutertes keep saying “humanitarian reasons”. Nothing! Nothing about the Dutertes can even be considered as “humanitarian” — especially the patriarch facing crimes against humanity case in the International Criminal Court. The man doesn’t even believe in Human Rights! I think that Senator Bato dela Rosa has every right to run scared at this point because unlike here in the Philippines, the Dutertes cannot protect him in the International Criminal Court. Maybe this is why he is already missing in action despite being the budget sponsor of some agencies in the plenary deliberations. Senator Bato dela Rosa and the other Duterte allies celebrated the death of the thousands of Filipinos — not given a day in court, just a mere assumption of drug addiction. Those who are seeking justice for the lives lost celebrate the decision of the International Criminal Court today but we are praying for a conviction and the day when all the accomplices mentioned will be arrested, including Senator Dela Rosa. Para sa pamilya ng mga libo-libong nasawi sa War on Drugs ni Rodrigo Duterte at kanilang mga na-ulila.

Need I remind you that at some point, the price of rice was around 50 to 70 pesos and 80 pesos in Tawi-tawi? Congressman Joey Salceda said that the “The biggest case of price manipulation in the agricultural sector remains to be the cornering of import permits in 2016-2018”. This cost the consumers up to Php 8 per kilo and an estimated economic loss at about Php 88.6 billion. The bottomline here?
