Why you misguiding people just for the sake of Funds! The iodine you are talking about is being added separately in table salt as potassium iodate, now even being added in pink salt also! The tata salt known as table salt had given gift of BP, heart problem to Indian people.

I had high blood pressure, I stopped consuming free flowing idodised salt and started consuming Sendha Namak. I feel better now, I blame iodised salt for BP. Also no one had high BP issue or thyroid issue in my family. I reject/ignore all medial research.

High BP, thanks to fortified sea salt which protects you from thyroid and gives you a High BP in return. The whole generation now has two beautiful epidemics, CKD and Heart disease. There were nearly no CKDs or Heart Attacks. 3-4 decades back when people used local salt.

Stupidity of the people in this comment section says the exact way of thinking. We are caring too much about people, let them live the way they can, show up at the emergencies. It's the experience that's going to heal them not the prior prevention.

Iodized salt is especially recommended for those female who are pregnant or those with thyroid issues (like thyroiditis). For others, pink salt can be used, but remember, the best way to use salt in your kitchen is to use all 3- black white and pink salt alternatively. Thanks!

Iodine can be taken in many ways. Iodine salt production was started to provide the salt segment to multinational companies. Government should propagate different ways to fulfill iodine need.

Such videos are called rumour mongering on socialmedia. People use sendha namak just for taste like any other spices. They do not used pink salt as replacement of Iodized salt in food they cook. Strange is some Dr is promoting such rumours.

This salt can also lead to kidney issues as this salt doesn't dissolve in water.

You dont need iodine thru salt. It is added to salt coz we add salt to food. There are other ways of taking iodine. You can also buy iodized pink salt.

Rrubbish!!! Iodine is found in almost all food and grains...and once packet is open normal table salt looses 80% of iodine anyways..

By imposing iodate on the entire population, including those with sufficient iodine levels, the policy risks triggering IIH or autoimmune thyroiditis.potassium iodate is a potent oxidizing agent; it has long-term impact on the gut microbiome and systemic oxidative stress.

You are absolutely right I started using pink salt but after a few months whole family health is getting declined. My TSH report is elevated and then I shifted back to white salt and all of the sudden everything went back to normal.
