I’ve been quietly investigating water contamination in the UK’s supply chain, submitting FOI requests to nearly every water company for data spanning the past five years. I’m now beginning to receive official lab results — and what’s emerging is deeply concerning. Here’s what one water company’s data shows: – One water sample recorded 1.8 MILLION µg/L of lead — that’s 180,000 times the UK legal limit (10 µg/L) – Multiple spikes in iron, copper, aluminium, manganese, and nickel – No data disclosed on microplastics, PFAS (forever chemicals), or pharmaceuticals – Every breach triggered internal risk reviews — but no public warnings are mentioned in the FOI response Yes — this is pre-treatment data. The NPP between 2017 - 2024 improved our water 15 to 29 Fairly Good water and reduced the poor quality water from 25 to 10 with 1 Good Quality water.
