too late. everyone is designing in code now

Are you guys paying attention at all? We want the opposite direction. That’s the value unlock, not this

figma I want the opposite…I want to design myself within figma and then prompt the ai to code the back end, databases, deploy to a URL/app, etc. Let me design, let the ai code.

if you want AI to "design" something why not have it do directly as frontend rather than having it create a design in figma only to redesign it later in code pretty sure nobody asked for ts

How is this different than this Plugin? People want Design to Code and not the other way around.

Cool. How about Figma to Claude Code?

Figma connecting code and canvas is huge. We're seeing the same shift that's why we built Share Chat in Dropstone. One link. Devs, designers, clients, and AI agents all coding together in real-time. The future isn't code OR design. It's everyone in one room.

Nice

doodles mentioned

Been a step ahead of you @figma

nice! i built a similar thing, but it utilizes multiple models and self-revises. need that part in figma!

I am just wondering who's designing in figma first now? I like to let AI surprise me with the design and then I tweak it

Everyone asking 'but why would designers use this?' is asking the wrong question. The target isn't "primarily" designers. It's the solo builder, the indie hacker, the dev who ships everything alone. They just went from 'functional but ugly' to 'functional and tasteful.' That's a massive unlock.

Figma clearly is becoming the design tool for big slow moving orgs. If you’re a small team just do it all by code now. I literally have a webcam facing my sketchbook and draw screenshot and send and it makes the changes. It can’t be much more fluid than that.

about time

Guys… the other direction makes more sense - Figma to Claude code. Because it usually starts with design then goes to code. Once you’re in code it’s faster to make design changes there instead of going back to figma especially now since the designers are so well versed in agentic coding

just shipped this today OOPS

Tired: canvas → handoff → refactor Wired: describe what you want → ship the frontend @clovr_dev

hey @figma, the idea is great, but my site looks like this after using the new mcp tool (no kidding!) 🫠

Is this only with Claude code or any code platform using figma mcp??

Isn't claude code's playground way better for exploring different design concepts? It helps you explore different designs, but in code.

If you wanna skip Figma all together and just stay in your codebase is worth a try

Guys, what we need is Figma to code. Plugins won't work unless figma is structured and well organized and still needs to be hand coded.

this is the workflow I didn't know I needed... design to code with Claude actually understanding the context of your components

I speak for everyone (not designers) that we do not need this we need something that can make HQ designs from, let me paste a screenshot of a website I like, or using existing nodes and say hey go build this for me and its actually fkn creative and not the ai slop bar is low

This is the real shift. Design → executable spec. Code → visual feedback loop. If code and canvas stay in sync, handoff friction drops to near zero. That’s how design systems actually scale.

Alex Kern × Figma?! LFG

so basically you found a way on how to copy frames from web to figma and now you package it as "claude code to figma"?

Pay attention people:

can you do it the other way

@guiseiz !!! :)

This is huge for solo builders and indie hackers. Design-to-code was already transforming, but code-to-Figma means rapid prototypes can now get proper design polish without starting over. The MCP ecosystem keeps delivering 🔥

RIP to UI/UX/FE/Web Designer
