🎓Learn how to create a powerful Dynamic Embers smart material in a matter of seconds, in my latest video series (AAA) Pro Tips! This smart material can be used on virtually any 3D asset. ___________________________________________________ In this video, the steps are as follows: 1. Create a fill layer to then apply the base maps for our asset into it. 2. Bake out the world space, AO, Curvature, and Position maps. These maps will be crucial for the smart material to function. Also, be sure to add an emissive channel to the project. 3. Next, create another fill layer labeled (Fire animation gradient) with a black mask and inside the mask apply a paint layer. Select the paint layer and paint a simple pill shape using a soft brush. Add an anchorpoint to the mask and disable all channels in this fill layer. 4. Create a folder labeled (embers smart material) and set it to pass through. Add a paint layer inside this folder and set it to pass through as well followed by an anchorpoint. 5. Create another fill layer and apply the paint layers anchorpoint information into its color channel. From here an HSL filter should be added to desaturate and darken the colors. 6. Next, create an additional fill layer with an orange-colored emissive channel. Add a black mask to this fill layer and inside its mask apply a dirt generator. This will give us the illusion of the embers glowing from inside the charred tree. Duplicate this fill layer and tweak its emissive color to a yellowish hue and reduce its mask amount. Do this a second time but with a white-colored emissive channel. This will now create an effect of the embers appearing brighter the deeper they are inside the tree. 7. Lastly, add these layers into a folder with a black mask and apply the (Fire Animation Gradient) anchorpoint into its mask via a fill layer. Now we have a charred embers effect wherever we paint using the paint layer created inside the gradient mask! This gradient mask can also be exported into Unreal engine to create some stunning real-time dynamic animations or the new material can simply be used for in-engine vertex painting. ____________________________________________________ More AAA Game Dev Tips can be found on my YouTube channel here: Stay tuned for more weekly Tips! My Daily Routine on TradingView Screeners: Discovering Daily Swing Setups Through Multiple Screening, Watchlist Management, and Tightness Screening within Watchlist. Note: This 3-minute video is played at 2x normal speed from real-time. Upon uncovering the screening feature within the 'Watchlist' on TradingView v2 screener, I would like to demonstrate how you can optimize your daily screening routine, efficiently manage your watchlist, and identify potential setups from within it. 1. I utilize a set of 12 swing trading scans to transfer results into individual watchlists, along with two daily scans specifically designed to filter setups within all my watchlist. However, most of these scans are executed on a weekly basis due to the repetitive nature of daily results. But I will showcase the utilization of all screens, including each parameters. 2. Every screen result goes into their individual watchlist. eg. 'Strong Movers >10B Mcap', 'Strong Movers <10B Mcap', 'Fundamental (CANSLIM)', 'Post Earnings Continuation Base', 'Daily Tightness'. I also have watchlist that are already established for 'IPO Base' , 'China Top 30' MCap, 'Short Float', 'Back Watchlist'. 3. After transferring all screening results to individual watchlists, I introduce two additional scan parameters: 'Watchlist Scan Price Above/Below EMA Below 5%.' These parameters aim to identify tight swing trading setups within a range of above and below 5% of the 5-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA). To consolidate the filtered results from all watchlists, you will need to create a new watchlist. In the video, I label this watchlist as 'Scan Result.' This is the only watchlist that I will refresh weekly (delete and rebuild again for the start of the week). You're not obligated to adhere to my screening parameters. If you already have your own set of screens, what I'm illustrating is simply how you can optimize your time more effectively with the introduction of 'watchlist' screening. While this feature offers significant time-saving benefits for daily use, I firmly believe it remains crucial to dedicate time during the weekend to thoroughly review and analyze stocks, identifying potential industry group setups one chart at a time. I would review all the stocks in each individual watchlist on each Saturday. I hope this will be helpful in your process. If you have missed the previous discussion, please find the link below.

DIGITAL TWIN UPDATE: The Unreal Engine digital twin project is CANCELLED! WE ARE OPEN SOURCING THE WORK!!!!!!! Instead, I'm building an end-to-end land management platform I'm calling Mazzap because it's an app and it's a map and also I'm Mr. Mazza. I'm also not calling a digital twin anymore; I'm calling it a V.E.I.L. which stands for Virtually Embodied Intelligent Land which serves the dual purpose of sounding way cooler and also conveys the long-term aims of the prject way better. With Mazzap anyone can easily generate a veil with nothing but publicly available data (and some photogrammetry objects if you so choose). Everything is perfectly georefrenced and you can right-click anywhere on your veil to get coordinates you can plug into google maps yourself. The next step for this is going to be building a survey companion mobile app so you can get field data yourself complete with attribute tables to drop in to get even HIGHER fidelity data than USGS. My stretch goal is using something like SAM 3D (but better) to generate georefrenced 3d tree assets based on the real trees on your land (which will eventually lead to growth and fruiting simulators based on your soil and hydrology data). Then again maybe that's not the next step; maybe the next step is plumbing in IoT devices so you can view assets in real time on your land. GPS trackers on the sheep, or maybe data from your solar controller. Or maybe it's up to you, because it's completely open source and it has an agents markdown file ready for your own coding agent to read and adapt for your purposes (did I mention this is vibecloded slop? sowwyyyy) Watch demo below and see how you can go from zero to beautifully rendered 3d map of your property in less than 15 minutes! If you're coming in cold to all this, below in the QT is a nested thread of reverse chronological tweets of my work on this (in unreal) so far.
