instant action with enemies in the first mission + exciting music after a briefing of why your role is important👌 That's how a great game starts No handholding with a boring 20min tutorial or choosing of eyebrow shape & color + 120 other things on your character No ads, news

Westwood and bullfrog are a couple of those studios I remember being excited for when they published something. Then came EA and … 😢

What a time to be alive...and then RED Alert absolutely slapped!

Red alert was excellent also. By the time Total Annihilation had come out I had a voodoo graphics card. It was the future.

What I played when I got my first computer in 1995: Microsoft Flight Simulator Doom Command & Conquer

Instantly brought me back. It also made me think about Mechwarrior 2 and its unbeatable soundtrack.

PC gaming from 1995 to 2005 was a golden era. We went from Command and Conquer and Age of Empires to Call of Duty and Half Life 2.

Its innovative gameplay and engaging storyline set a new standard for RTS games, influencing countless titles that followed and earning a special place in gaming history.

This was legit, would love a reboot but keep it simple like the original, no need to over gamify it.

The version running in my brain has better graphics… yikes
