Nova-1 is set to deploy from SpaceX's Transporter-17 just after midnight tonight. As the first Nova in orbit, Nova-1 will serve as a flying testbed, proving out the Nova platform architecture and the vertically integrated tech stack (power, avionics, solar, flight software) that will underpin all future Apex platforms. Nova mission success has been divided into three discrete phases, each with a clearly defined set of objectives that will help prove Nova’s readiness as a true constellation workhorse. Phase 1: Minimum Viable Product Establish communications and confirm power-positivity. Platform is healthy in orbit. Phase 2: Crossing the Threshold Continue platform commissioning. Power on payloads and downlink data. Phase 3: Fully Operational Space Platform Complete platform commissioning. Begin Project Shadow commissioning and mission ops. Pushing the Limit Following Project Shadow, Apex will continue testing the limits of Nova’s performance on orbit. Stay tuned for more mission updates over the next several weeks.

Up, up, and away. 🚀 Today, in partnership with Planet, we launched a prototype satellite carrying four TPUs into orbit on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission. This launch is the first step of Project Suncatcher, our long-term research moonshot to see whether we can one day host scalable machine learning infrastructure in space. Over the coming weeks, we'll gather in-orbit data on how our TPUs handle the physical stress, radiation, and thermal extremes of space. Whatever we learn, we'll use it to refine our future designs.

My team and I have been working furiously for the last few months to establish the foundations of a political party which is capable of saving our United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland 🇬🇧. I am delighted to launch that party today: Advance UK. The party will stand for the entire country in all its parts and for all its people. We will fight for nation, freedom of speech, democracy and equality before the law. We will not flinch. We will not pander to false narratives designed to damage our country. We will be for the British people and by the British people. The party will itself be democratic. We will assemble the brightest and bravest in our college and executive. They will work tirelessly, without fear or favour, to formulate the policies and recruit the candidates required to fulfil our mission. If our country is to be saved it must be saved by its people. No one person is capable of doing so. Only by assembling the best and bravest can we succeed. Today I am calling on you to join our party. Our first goal is to achieve 30,000 members. We are discounting our membership fee to £10 per annum until that goal is achieved. When it is, we will have the required support to become a fully fledged party. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you. When we get to 30,000 members, I will donate £100,000 to the party to ensure we have the fire power to move forward. With your support and only with your support can we fulfil our mission. Syntilay is announcing an unprecedented mission to design shoes in space! We will be deploying an AI agent on a computer in a satellite that will generate the first shoe design outside of earth in human history! This mission, taking place on a SpaceX rocket in early 2026, will push the boundaries of automation in footwear design to heights never seen before. The first shoes made in space are planned to release in late Q2 2026 for $200! Which will be 3D printed with our preferred production partner Zellerfeld. Thank you to all of our partners from Copernic Space which has the goal to democratize space access, OrbitsEdge which creates the space computer, to Joe and Julie Foster for their support. This is a piece of history and only possible with Syntilay’s AI-Design approach. The future is now! Cornelius Schmitt 👨‍🚀Copernic Space🚀

Hey Canada, we have a spaceport! 🇨🇦🚀 NordSpace's beautiful Atlantic Spaceport Complex (ASX) is officially under construction outside the town of St. Lawrence, in Newfoundland and Labrador! With our first launch of a Canadian commercial rocket from a Canadian commercial spaceport set to take flight in the coming weeks, the future of a true sovereign capability for assured access to space has never looked so promising. We're thrilled to share footage of ASX's SLC-02 publicly for the first time. ASX will support NordSpace’s first commercial launch of our Taiga suborbital rocket with Taiga's launch window opening on August 25th 2025. Taiga is powered by the company’s proprietary 3D-printed Hadfield Mk III liquid rocket engine, and the mission is named "Getting Screeched In". The launch window is subject to road and power interruptions due to the ongoing state of emergency in Newfoundland and Labrador. This launch follows a series of successful tests, including a fully integrated rocket test and a month-long qualification campaign for the Hadfield Mk III engine. Both demonstrated rapid refurbishment capabilities and turnarounds between tests, paving the way for reusable and cost-effective launch operations from Canadian soil. ASX is designed to support our Tundra orbital launch vehicle and partner launch vehicles, facilitating a wide range of orbital and suborbital missions situated at a 46 degree latitude. The initial $10M phase of development for the Atlantic Spaceport Complex will feature two sites: 🚀 SLC-01 will feature two launch pads for orbital missions including NordSpace’s Tundra vehicle and international launch partners from the U.S. and Europe. 🚀 SLC-02 will consist of at least one smaller launch pad for suborbital missions, radar systems for vehicle tracking and space domain awareness, and other ground support equipment to enable all launch operations at the ASX. The ASX will also support NordSpace’s broader portfolio, including our SHARP (Supersonic and Hypersonic Applications Research Platform) program. NordSpace’s CEO and founder, Rahul Goel, said, “The start of construction at the Atlantic Spaceport Complex is a seminal moment for Canada. This is not just about building a launch site; it’s about building a future where Canada leads in space exploration, innovation, and security. The ASX is critical national infrastructure that will unlock assured access to space, ensuring our sovereignty and fostering economic growth for generations. We are committed to making the vision of a true sovereign end-to-end space missions capability a reality, and today’s groundbreaking is a testament to our team’s relentless dedication, speed, and capability.” We thank Government of Newfoundland & Labrador, Transport Canada, National Defence, Canadian Space Agency and NAV CANADA for their support.

Here is one of our experimental 3D printed Hadfield liquid rocket engines going through some thrust vector control (TVC) profiles! As we scale to our first light-lift orbital launch vehicle, Tundra, and then our medium-lift reusable launch vehicle, Titan, precise control of the rocket at every phase of flight is critical to mission success. Guiding a rocket to orbit, and eventually back to Earth, demands close coordination across every sub-team. Some of the key challenges we’re tackling: ➡️ Reliable & repeatable TVC actuation: ensuring the engine gimbal responds consistently across every test and flight ➡️ High-frequency control loops: real-time systems that keep the vehicle stable from liftoff to orbital insertion ➡️ Propellant sloshing: accounting for the movement of fluids in tanks and its effect on vehicle dynamics ➡️ Wind shear compensation: countering atmospheric disturbances during ascent ➡️ Structural bending & flex modes: managing how the vehicle’s primary structure responds to aerodynamic and thrust loads ➡️ Precision payload delivery: hitting the exact target orbit, every time Our team at NordSpace has been advancing our propulsion systems on many fronts, as we work to unveil our orbital-scale, pump-fed Hadfield and Garneau rocket engines in the near future — the engines that will carry Canada to orbit for the first time, and unlock sovereign access to space. Check out some of our rocket hardware, meet our engineers, join over 400 attendees and over 40 speakers at the Canadian Space Launch Conference, taking place this May 5th in Ottawa. Excited to announce UtilitySat, the world’s first multi-mission geostationary satellite, that we're launching at the end of this year. This is a first of its kind. And a new product line-- providing on-demand connectivity for disaster relief, bridge capacity, and other missions. We started Astranis to build something new: small communications satellites that provide dedicated broadband capacity for our customers. At the end of this year we’re launching four more of them on a dedicated Falcon 9 rocket, with many more to come after that. That launch of four satellites includes one satellite for Peru, two satellites for in-flight connectivity, and a fourth satellite that had been previously kept under wraps. Until now. Introducing UtilitySat, the Swiss Army Knife of satellites This is a new product— the world’s first multi-mission commercial GEO satellite, capable of conducting multiple fully-operational broadband connectivity missions. And it is just the first of many. We’ll plan to launch many UtilitySats in the years to come. UtilitySat can provide connectivity on standard Ku, Ka, and Q/V bands, and has the flexibility to dial in exact frequencies using Astranis’s proprietary ultra-wideband software-defined radio. It can also relocate dozens of times around the GEO belt over its lifetime. It does this using our unique on-board dual-propulsion architecture, which includes both a chemical monopropellant system and an electric ion thruster. A new mission every year, or every month When we first began development of UtilitySat almost 2 years ago, we had many different missions in mind. UtilitySat can serve as bridge capacity for a customer that is waiting for a dedicated satellite, as an on-orbit spare, or as extra, surge capacity that can be brought in to supplement the broadband service we’re providing to one of our customers. There are acute needs as well — a natural disaster can wipe out terrestrial connectivity over a huge geographic area. One of the top priorities for first responders and during disaster relief is reliable comms on the ground. With multiple UtilitySats on orbit, Astranis can bring in extra capacity on incredibly short notice. Capacity that is compatible with existing, low-cost GEO ground terminals. In initial conversations with customers for UtilitySat, we’ve seen huge demand — these customers often want to lease the entire capacity of the satellite once they learn what UtilitySat can offer. Customers need all the capacity they can get, and new capacity that can be deployed on short notice is a huge deal and a huge departure from traditional GEO satellites. We see a future where customers will be able to call up extra capacity on demand to augment their existing capacity needs, and we’re making that future a reality. US Government applications The first UtilitySat mission will be a commercial one, but we are seeing enormous demand from both from commercial companies and from our government customers. The US Government has unique needs — Combatant Commanders need to be able to task dedicated satellites to specific AORs at a moment’s notice — and surge communications would give them a new tool in their toolbox, helping them win even in a contested environment. And more broadly speaking our military leaders have said the one priority in national security space is to add resiliency to our fleets, using larger numbers of smaller, flexible, and maneuverable satellites so we’re not dependent on just a handful of huge satellites in GEO. UtilitySat shows that Astranis can do just that. Not traditional GEO satellites UtilitySat is only possible because of Astranis’s unique technology — including our proprietary software–defined radio. The flexibility of having on-board digital signal processing allows us to build a standardized satellite design, and move a lot of what used to be done in hardware, into software. UtilitySat uses the standard Astranis MicroGEO platform, adding more frequency bands and some new software capabilities to make maximum use of the available spectrum, no matter where the satellite is on orbit. Traditional geostationary satellites are designed to sit in one orbital slot for up to 20 years, with a set of frequency bands that is hardwired in at the factory. Their single mission must be predetermined many years before they are launched. Astranis does not build traditional GEO satellites. From day one we knew there had to be a better way, and we’re doing it.

🚀 India just made space history. Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1 successfully reached orbit on its very first orbital launch attempt from ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Think about how difficult that is. Most new orbital rockets don’t make it on their maiden flight. Skyroot just went from development to orbit on attempt #1. And this isn’t just a win for Skyroot. 🇮🇳 India is now the 3rd country in the world. after the United States and China, to have a private company successfully demonstrate orbital launch capability. Vikram-1 reached an orbit of roughly 450 km and completed its mission in under 20 minutes. A privately developed Indian rocket, designed and built in India, reaching orbit on its first try. That’s a massive milestone for India’s private space industry. The era of Indian private spaceflight has officially arrived. 🇮🇳🚀

We have recently launched the first “DEEP” underwater drone system in a demonstration mission that marked a significant milestone for our Group in the field of underwater technology. DEEP is designed for the protection, development, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and port areas, while also performing monitoring and environmental protection activities. Thanks to a network of underwater sensors for early warning, a Command and Control Center for real-time operational management, a team of autonomous underwater vehicles capable of conducting missions at different levels of autonomy, cooperation, and coordination, and an Al-based system dedicated to data analysis and processing, we bring on board a dual-purpose and versatile technology able to operate efficiently in diverse contexts. Watch some highlights from DEEP’s missions 👇

I'm excited to announce we have achieved our Tier 1 mission success criteria and have begun gathering a tremendous amount of data on how this brand new spacecraft performs. On March 30th, 13:17:08Z, the Gravitas spacecraft separated from the SpaceX Transporter-16 stack to begin its mission as one of the highest power free-flying satellites ever launched. Immediately after separation, the spacecraft autonomously: - Executed detumbling maneuvers - Established two-way communications with the ground (on our very first ground station pass) - Deployed its 20kW solar arrays - Slewed to a safe and stable attitude to await further ground commands These actions alone are a testament to the incredible work of our in-house engineering, software, and GNC teams to build a robust spacecraft. Since then, our operations team completed all initial system activations and checkouts, confirming the vehicle is in a power positive and thermally stable state with no major anomalies observed at this time. We completed this phase of the mission ahead of schedule. Next up we will be powering up and downlinking data for all payloads aboard the Gravitas spacecraft in support of our customers and partners while continuing to put the spacecraft through its paces. As we noted ahead of launch: The goal of this mission is to experiment and push our systems to the limit to inform future missions. I look forward to sharing more on our successes and challenges as the mission proceeds. Video of our satellite below; link to full T-16 webcast:

Now, THIS is exciting. Save Windermere has partnered with Map Impact and the UK Space Agency in what we believe is the most innovative data collection project ever constructed to study the inputs into Windermere. The project will use satellite imagery to study chlorophyll-a concentrations in Windermere. Chlorophyll-a is synonymous with phosphorus loading. Phosphorus is the key nutrient that’s causing the decline of Windermere. This satellite imagery will be used in conjunction with data from one of the UK's largest mobile networks, which will provide anonymised cellular data to determine the number of people within the Windermere catchment at any given moment. This will enable us to quantify the pressure from human activity (i.e., sewage) in the area and its impact on phosphorus concentrations in the lake. This will then be compared with other inputs like land use to see how impactful sewage is in comparison to these. To find out more, please visit this link and sign up for the website to receive key updates from the project as it progresses.

We are proud and excited to announce a historic $5M investment in our new spaceport, Spaceport Canada! This investment and project is being developed to support NordSpace's Tundra launch vehicle and bring Canada one major step closer to sovereign launch as the nation's first operational spaceport. Read all the details in our press release: Canada is the only G7 nation without sovereign launch capabilities. In addition to countless benefits for Canada’s national security, environmental protection efforts, and global leadership, such a capability would result in an estimated 650 new highly qualified personnel (HQPs) over the next decade alone and $2.5B in economic development. NordSpace is working actively with the Canadian Government to ensure the success of Spaceport Canada, and would like to thank Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, Global Affairs Canada, Canadian Space Agency, and Space Canada | Espace Canada for their continued support. A second launch pad, Pad B, is also planned to support partner launch vehicles under the upcoming Technology Safeguards Agreement with the United States. NordSpace has been working with the @DeptofDefense, Space Systems Command, and the @SpaceForceDoD to ensure the development of Pad B is strategically aligned. --- NordSpace’s CEO, Rahul Goel, commented - “We are facing another Avro Arrow moment in Canada, and have a decision to make as a nation. Will we remain spectators, or will we aspire to be participants and leaders in the new commercial space era? Canada's environment, economy, security and sovereignty are at stake. Opening the floodgates to space with a Canadian launch vehicle, from a Canadian spaceport, carrying a Canadian payload - that is the definition of sovereign launch, and it will change the shape of our great nation for generations.” When asked to comment on NordSpace's announcement of Spaceport Canada, Space Canada's CEO and former Premier of New Brunswick, Brian Gallant said "The value of developing domestic space launch capabilities, including commercial, cannot be understated as it will allow us to launch Canadian space technologies from Canada. In addition to the fact that the demand for commercial launch services is growing both nationally and globally, given space is a strategic sector playing a pivotal role in defence by protecting our security and sovereignty, Canada needs to enhance its domestic launch capabilities."

ABS CBN COMPOUND TURN OVER TO THE NEXT PROPRIETOR. As ABS CBN that molded our love for Country and commitment to serve the Filipino people through our Arts and Talents, the space within its four walls which used to be our playground, strength and refuge are about to be turned over to the next Proprietors; as Gabby and the Lopezes Brothers Mark and Ernie as the ABS -CBN, the Heads, Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes and Lauren Dyogi, Pioneers and Stalwart’s CONVICTION that ABS will keep its commitment to what we have proven and what we started, It is easy to fight back the tears which suppose to be flowing on our cheeks. Instead it flowed inward down to our hearts as a new inspiration to a new beginning. Yes we will stay. We will always be here, much wider much bigger and stronger. Sabi nga ni Karlo Katigbak, “ABS CBN is in our hearts and Home is where our heart is”… and so it will stay there to keep on inspiring people. ABS is not its Bldg and its Location. We all have our sweet and sentimental memories that will be burried there, but ABS CBN is us, it is already living within its people, its employees and talents and we will continue to keep and share this inspiration to the Filipinos, in this Nation and to the Filipino people around the globe. So we will be here Standing still with our Conviction and Commitment to serve the Filipino People with or without the four walls of our former HOME. Our Hearts and our commitments will be the home of our Dreams and Aspirations and it will always be here. We will stand still, BIGGER STRONGER AND TALLER than our past Towers and Homes. Mabuhay! 🌹
