“tell me about what’s headspace you need to be in to be your best in the studio?” ROSÉ: i just need ‘not think’ personally, the last album i realized that it was so much more free flowing in the studio when i was just myself fully. I feel like everybody has stories to tell on like a day-to-day basis and like usually you would talk to your therapist about it or your boyfriend or to your best friend but ive kind of saved that and anytime i felt something, felt like speaking my mind i would quickly find a studio and and the people that i love to work with and just pop in and i’d just let it out there just so that, well for the last album it feels very intimate and feel like a journal.

just a special song. came to me easier than any other song on the album. everything just poured out. times like that I feel less like a writer and more like a vessel. I love the visuals for this. the subway station is gritty like the conflict I’m describing. subways also always felt like a portal to me, the “inbetween” if you will, which is the kind of conflict I’m describing in this song. also kinda represents constant motion but inevitably ending up back in the same spot…the whole “where do we go from here?” quandary. anyway, hope you enjoy this song. I love it. Forever.

Full translation on this part : 🥟 im not really someone who does search things up a lot but after i heard the rumors, i just started looking into it.. as i keep seeing it, i ended up looking into the issue myself..reading what you all posted on Fans and the feedback about the company it left me feeling really frustrated..i didn’t feel good at all.. like for me.. I also really wish we have this kind of right to make request.. it was just this sense of helplessness i felt about the fact that there was really nothing i can do..still even if its just a little thing, since i can speak out to the company i felt like i had to say it..and its not just me, all the members think the same way too..anyway since the company will be monitoring things, i hope everything gets resolved properly.. like please!!! I really hope that the memories we’ve built together and all the good moments we shared, don’t get ruined because of just one issue like this.. i did my best too but there are also STAY that put in effort to like me so i hope that feeling isnt taken lightly.
