He used to insist at PayPal that every single person could only do exactly one thing. And we all rebelled. As I watched this video, my heart was filled with both joy and ❤️‍🩹 at the same time. Look at this little boy. He is standing at the train station, not yet knowing that he is about to hear the words he has been waiting for-that he is going home, to Ukraine. Then look at his eyes the moment he finds out. So much happiness in a single glance. And at the same time, so much pain. Because of Russіа, thousands of Ukrainian children have lost their homes. Thousands have been forced to leave Ukraine. And no matter what anyone says, it is hard. Especially for children. They miss their homes, their bedrooms, their friends, and the places they love. They simply want to go home. Watching the joy in this little boy’s eyes brought me to tears. I’m sitting here crying. This reminds me of the first time I met Uhuru Kenyatta in 2012, shortly after I started working for TNA. As I introduced myself, I confidently told him that the presidency was his for the taking. “Hii usha chukua,” I said. He smiled and replied, “We can’t take anything for granted. We have to go to every part of this country and work for every vote.” Watching Sifuna today, I am reminded of that same philosophy. He is not taking anything for granted.
